Sanctioned criminal extremist Israeli settler Weiss nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

Woman who said the people of Gaza must not be allowed to ‘sleep in peace’ or ever have a state and has incited settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank receives nomination for ‘community building’

Daniella Weiss: figurehead of the far-right Zionist settler movement sanctioned for her “role in facilitating, supporting or financially contributing to acts of violence … against Palestinian civilians and their property”

In another sign of how far through the looking-glass the world has fallen, far-right extremist Israeli settler Daniella Weiss has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize by two Israeli academics, according to local reports.

University professors Amos Azaria and Shalom Sadik reportedly nominated Weiss, claiming that “the establishment of Jewish communities has prevented violence and enhanced security” and prevented deaths.

Weiss, a repeat criminal, is a prominent advocate of the white supremacist Zionist settlement movement to seize more and more land and homes from the indigenous people of Palestine, unequivocally a crime under international law. Among her anti-Palestinian pronouncements are an insistence that Palestinians must never have a state and must not be ‘allowed to sleep’, and that only Jews must live in Gaza.

She has been convicted at least twice for violence, including toward Israeli police officers attempting to investigate arson attacks on Palestinian homes and fields in the occupied West Bank. Last year, Canada imposed sanctions on Weiss and six others for “the grave breach of international peace and security posed by their violent and destabilizing actions against Palestinian civilians and their property in the West Bank.”

Settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank has continued for years and increased markedly, protected by Israeli troops, since Israel began its genocide in Gaza. Just yesterday, two Palestinian shepherds were attacked on their land, beaten and then thrown off a cliff to their deaths by a group of Zionist settlers.

The Norwegian Nobel Institute does not publish an official list of nominees, nor confirm if a specific individual or organisation has been nominated.

  1. There is only one credible candidate for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize!

Signora Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur for Palestine!

It has been many years since I’ve seen someone, on the world stage, pursue their brief with such persistent courage, integrity and lucidity.

I’ll be very surprised if Signora Albanese isn’t – at least – nominated, if she hasn’t been, already.

Naturally, I would, also, expect the Zionist community to be overcome with a dose of the vapours, amid great wailing, weeping, gnashing of teeth and renting of garments. A sight to behold.

  2. Bad enough that the wizened citrus is being mooted for theboeace prize – but THAT ‘kin lunatic????

    World’s gone completely FUBAR.

  3. And laugh he did how the lambs are now the argressors so shall they be put to the sword
