US, Israel reject Egypt-Arab Summit plan to rebuild Gaza

Arrogance of 2-in-1 genocide regime on full show

The US State Department rejected Egypt’s plan for Gaza, which was approved by this week’s summit of Arab nations, claiming it does not meet US president Donald Trump’s demands – after Trump’s envoy had already praised Egypt’s plan. State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said:

The Arab deal via Egypt—what I have for you right now is that it does not meet [Trump’s] expectations.

Egypt has proposed a $53bn rebuilding plan over five years for Gaza, a proposal approved by the Arab League summit in Cairo, but Trump – who yesterday threatened Palestinians with extermination in a clear statement of genocidal intent – and his regime think they are the ones who need to be satisfied with the plan:

At the same time, the Israeli Foreign Ministry has dismissed Egypt’s plan, claiming that it “fails to address the reality post-October 7” and that its inclusion of the Palestinian Authority (PA) and United Nations relief agency for Palestinians UNRWA is unacceptable:

The statement relies on the Palestinian Authority and UNRWA, both of which are corrupt and support terrorism.

Israel also claimed that Trump’s horrific Gaza “opportunity” of ethnic cleansing or death is a “free choice” for the around 1.8 million survivors of Israel’s genocide so far and criticised Arab states for rejecting the laughably-termed “chance granted to Gazans by Trump.”

Was the arrogance of the two-in-one genocidal state ever more clearly on show than to devastate Gaza and slaughter hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians, then reject a reconstruction plan – however flawed in its inclusion of Israel’s puppet PA – because it doesn’t suit them, while again starving and bombing its victims?

  1. Those that provided the arms & the perpetrators who carried out the obliteration of much of Gaza are probably miffed with the Arab proposals as they sniff PROFIT from reconstruction contracts.
    Palestinians & the oppressed of the world should demand:
    “Clean Hands Only.”

  2. I wonder how Trump has reacted to this news.

    China supports the plan for restoring peace in #Gaza initiated by Egypt and other Arab countries, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Friday. Gaza belongs to the Palestinian people, and is an inseparable part of the Palestinian territory. Changing the status of Gaza by forceful means will not bring about peace, but only new chaos, Wang told a press conference held on the sidelines of the ongoing annual session of the national legislature. Wang called for efforts to promote a comprehensive and lasting ceasefire, ramp up humanitarian assistance, observe the principle of “the Palestinians governing Palestine,” and contribute to the reconstruction in Gaza. #TwoSessions2025

      1. qwertboi – Probably the opposite of Trump.

        This is what the PM said just a couple of days ago
        Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has said Palestinians “must be allowed home” after President Donald Trump proposed a US takeover of Gaza.
        At Prime Minister’s Questions, Sir Keir was asked about a proposal by Trump, who suggested the US could turn Gaza into the “Riviera of the Middle East”.
        The idea has been widely condemned, with US allies such as Saudi Arabia and France rejecting the plan.
        Sir Keir said the UK government supported a two-state solution to resolve the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.

        https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cwyp3xw8e25o

      2. Herr Starmer has said a lot of things and done the opposite.

        Hyenas are more trustworthy.

      3. Dave – “Peas and wild aquatic products is certainly a major deal…..”

        Yes, the link that you kindly provided makes it clear that this is a significant addition to the existing trading relationship that Ukraine enjoys with China who are a key market for its agricultural exports.

      4. And there was Herr Starmer thinking he had tied up ownership of 404 in his deal proclaiming the hundred-year Reich.

        You just cannot get the staff.

    1. “I wonder how Trump has reacted to this news.”

      On the evidence so far it will be one way today and the opposite tomorrow.

      Presumably the use of a full stop rather than a question mark at the end of that question denotes it as rhetorical rather than one to be taken seriously?

      1. Dave – I am also wondering how Trump and Putin reacted when they found out that Ukraine and China signed an agricultural deal on Thursday this week.

  3. Quite possibly fhe opposite of trump.

    Until the perma-scowling dayglo don is sat opposite him.

    This is what the PM said just a couple of days ago

    Pay attention, ollies. Keef says lots of things and then denies he said them within a day or two.

    Palestinians must be allowed home

    How profound. There was me thinking they were home…until keef granted benny ‘the right’ to pulverise those homes into dust without so much as a fucking by-your-leave, let alone a finger wag.

  4. And Lightweight Elite top down Starmer from thousands of miles away with his two state solution tells Palestinians they may have 20% of their country back but even that would be under the supervision of the Israeli Occupation Force.
    Those who are on the side of the Palestinians & all of the oppressed support the ideas of Palestinian intellectuals (Said, Olymar et al) who call for One Multi-Ethnic Democratic State of Palestine from the rivers to the sea, and then class politics becomes the norm.
    Yours in Peace.

    1. As Jeffrey Sachs notes here………

      https://consortiumnews.com/2025/02/27/jeffrey-sachs-the-geopolitics-of-peace/

      ……a two-state solution has never seriously been on the table:

      “(In 1996, Netanyahu and his American advisors issued the document “Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm” with the Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies. This new “clean break” strategy called upon Israel to reject the framework of “land for peace.” This effectively advocated that Israel would not withdraw from the Palestinian occupied lands of 1967 in exchange for regional peace. Instead, Israel would continue with its policy of occupation until securing “peace for peace,” by reshaping the Middle East to its liking. Redrawing the map of the region consisted of toppling governments that were opposed to Israel’s dominance.) …

      ….the U.S. decided around September 20, 2001, that it would launch seven wars in five years!

      You can listen to General Wesley Clark on video speak about that. (See Clark, in 2011, on Democracy Now!, where he was told by Pentagon official “we’re going to attack and destroy the governments in seven countries in five years — we’re going to start with Iraq, and then we’re going to move to Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Iran.””

      Just like, as Sachs points out, German reunification was created on the lie the NATO would not expand an inch Eastwards.

      And, just as in Palestine and the Middle East the name of the game is do as I say hegemony which has given us endless wars of expansion and colour revolutions costing millions of lives from the former Yugoslavia, Caucuses, and the Middle East to North and East Africa and beyond whilst blaming the victims for the very crimes US and European Governments, of whatever nominal hue, are committing.

      But you won’t see the sycophantic shills who infest the internet dealing with those facts and realities.

  5. .ea while, a protester has scaled the big ben tower and waved a Palestinian flag.

    An offence against the Westminster cabal. And the zionists?!!

    Oh lordy….lawks-a-lordy!! 😲😯😲😯

    Once keef stops chewing the furniture in abject rage, there’ll be nothing down for that poor sod. 😒

  6. Elsewhere in blighty, someone’s got onto one the orange one’s golf courses and wrtoe: Gaza is not for sale” on one of the greens.

    Keef must be apoplectic. I DO hope he has plenty of Pepto Bismol to hand…

    #Pray for keef

    1. Oh, and they’ve decorated the clubhouse with red paint, but have been rather clumsy about it because it’s all over the windows too.

      Disgruntled republicans, perchance?

  7. Meanwhile, in Syria over the past two days;

    https://apnews.com/article/syria-alawites-sectarian-killings-coast-assad-hts-610cdee1d5762d3ecb75c700fb7cf5f2

    “The revenge killings that started Friday by Sunni Muslim gunmen loyal to the government against members of Assad’s minority Alawite sect are a major blow to Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, the faction that led the overthrow of the former government. Alawites made up a large part of Assad’s support base for decades.

    Residents of Alawite villages and towns spoke to The Associated Press about killings during which gunmen shot Alawites, the majority of them men, in the streets or at the gates of their homes. Many homes of Alawites were looted and then set on fire in different areas, two residents of Syria’s coastal region told the AP from their hideouts.

    They asked that their names not be made public out of fear of being killed by gunmen, adding that thousands of people have fled to nearby mountains for safety.”

    Whilst, quell surprise…………

    1. ………the BBC is sticking to less solid terms to describe what even the UK based NGO The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) are describing as 162 civilians having been killed in “field executions” in the region – a heartland of deposed president Bashir al-Assad, who also belongs to the Alawite sect.

      https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/czxnwrqey4go

      1. Not sure what relevance your reply to me has to the slaughter in Syria by US backed head choppers, Billy?

        To return to that matter, here is more on the massacres of Christian and Alawite minorities in Syria:

        https://korybko.substack.com/p/five-takeaways-from-the-latest-sectarian

        “Syria was rocked by sectarian violence in recent days after the interim authorities and their foreign allies massacred members of the Alawite minority en masse in response to an armed rebellion from some of their co-religionists. It’s impossible to independently determine how many people have been killed, but social media is awash with videos showing the execution of children, women, and the elderly, which anyone can easily find if they look for them.”

        The Americans, who illegally occupy parts of Syria and its oil fields under the so-called rules based order, appear to be offering zero support for the Human Rights of those being slaughtered.

        Just as they offered no support for Russian speaking Ukrainians in the Donbass who were slaughtered over a period of ten years by neo-Nazis using munitions supplied by the US.

        Ditto for the Europeans and the UK. So much for Christian solidarity, human rights and democracy, which are used selectively to suit convenience.

        But I tell you who is sheltering these people…..

        “Russia is in talks with the interim authorities to retain its air and naval bases, but it’s also sheltering some of the (presumably mostly Alawite) civilians that these same authorities sought to slaughter.”

        Maybe it’s time some people here woke up and smelled the coffee in regard to the bullshit narratives they are recycling on this site.

      2. Dave – Non whatsoever.
        Thanks for pointing out that my comment had appeared in the wrong place. I guess you’ve already worked it out for yourself that I had intended it to appear as an addition to Toffee’s thread above.
        https://skwawkbox.org/2025/03/07/us-israel-reject-egypt-arab-summit-plan-to-rebuild-gaza/#comment-265120

        I’m surprised that your diatribe above neglected to mention the terrible brutality of the Assad regime who slaughtered and tortured to death over a 100,000 of their citizens. (as evidenced by the discovery of gruesome mass graves following Assad’s overthrow). Or that when Assad was in charge a Russian General was bragging about how many air assault missions they had carried out or that Assad’s security forces had opened fire on peaceful protests.

      3. Would the evidence you have once again failed to provide for these allegations, Billy, perchance be the same sources that were financed to produce propaganda via the USAID scam which Trump is dismantling?

        You know, the sources that

        – told us there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq;

        – babies were ripped out of incubators in Kuwaiti hospitals by Iraqi soldiers;

        – a nerve agent many times more lethal than Sarin – which lethally attacks the nervous system in seven seconds – was deployed in an English town with no mass deaths and which miraculously defied the laws of physics by surviving in pure form without any dilution from environmental snow and rain contamination for nearly two weeks;

        – Vietnam attacked US shipping in the Gulf of Tonkin;

        – failed to inform us about the shelling and killing of civilians in the Donbass against the Minsk Agreements (along with who it was deliberately broke those agreements);

        – censor information on behalf of the Genocidal Zionist Israeli State;

        – amplified the fake anti-Semitism narrative in the Labour Party;

        – Liverpool fans were responsible for the deaths at the Hillsborough stadium;

        – protected paedophiles like Jimmy Saville;

        – continue to tell us, against all the contrary evidence, that babies were beheaded and women raped on October 7th 2023;

        – fail to inform us of all the Israeli civilian deaths arising from the Hannibal directive and attribute every death to the Palestinian resistance;

        – falsely inform us a Tik-Tok account in Romania which was financed and operated by a Romanian opposition party to draw votes away from a rival party to another rival party was “Russian interference”;

        – gave us the ‘Russiagate’ false flag narrative which, like all of the above narratives, turned out to be a total crock of shit without a single shred of evidence to support the allegations.

        When that is what you are hanging your hat on, Billy, I have a bridge to sell you.

      4. Dave – So what is it exactly that I have said above that you are claiming is untrue?

        Please give the long winded histrionics a rest and try to be precise and concise

      5. You’ve got things arse about face again, Billy.

        It is down to you to prove, with substantive credible evidence, the claims of a discredited official narrative with a record of deceit that you are amplifying.

        That is how due process works. You, the one making the allegations, have to prove them. You have to present evidence beyond the infantile ‘this is so because I say it is so’.

        Whilst the approach you are taking is certainly the favoured methodology of your plastic hero, Herr Starmer, with his Kangaroo Court process, it has no credibility or value in the real world.

        Put up or shut up? Your choice. Your credibility on the line. Can you prove your claims with credible evidence?

        Tick! Tock!

      6. Dave – Oh whoopee, yet another load of waffle. 😞
        When you’ve managed to get over yourself perhaps you could as requested give the histrionics a rest and get around to answering my clear and concise question with a clear and concise answer.

        So what is it exactly that I have said above that you are claiming is untrue❓

      7. Precisely what difficulty are you having, Billy, with the standard and accepted concept of proving your claim with credible evidence?

        It is not down to others to determine this. That is not how due process or the scientific method works. You have made the claim. Prove your claim with evidence. Only then will it be possible to comment further.

        Ball is in your court son. In your own time.

      8. Dave – On the contrary the ball is self evidently in your court. I am currently waiting for you to respond to my question.

        What is it exactly that I have said above that you are claiming is untrue❓

        You’re the one claiming that I’ve said something that is untrue, so surely you must be able to answer this very simple question.

      9. I’ll make it simple for you, Billy.

        Nothing in your evidence free claim is true/accurate/correct/right until you have presented credible, independently verified evidence to substantiate it.

        That is how due process and the scientific method works. The onus is always on the party making the claim/allegation to prove their case.

        Western media reports are not credible evidence because

        If you tried this arse about face approach in a court of law, you would lose. Period. End of.

        Simply because, as centuries of law practice, procedures and processes attest to, it is not possible to respond to a claim or allegation with no substantiating evidence to refute. Any independent judiciary would throw any evidence free claim or allegation out of court.

        That is the standard YOU need to meet. And if you wish to dispute that point, the only realistic method of doing so is to take your case to a court and see how far you actually get. Good luck with that.

        So get on with presenting your evidence – if you have any and are capable – Billy, and stop prevaricating.

        Only then will it be possible to provide a response once that evidence is presented – if it exists (and if it did, you would have presented it by now).

      10. Dave – Don’t be so ridiculously silly, it is common knowledge that the brutal Assad regime ruled over Syria for over half a century and it is also common knowledge that mass graves were discovered containing 10s of 1,000s of tortured souls after Assad was overthrown.

        What is it that saddo pretend lefties like yourself find so attractive about the corrupt murderous regimes run by the likes of Putin and Assad?

      11. It remains “common knowledge” (whose? And how was that “knowledge” generated?) that babies were beheaded, women raped and people in vehicles fleeing the rock concert were slaughtered by Palestinian helicopter rocket ship fire in Israel on October 2023.

        Just as it was “common Knowledge that there were WMD’s in Iraq. The Western media told us so. Along with so munch other bullshit which has been previously listed for you, Billy, which turned out to be a crock of shite.

        You really are going to have to do better than this load of incoherent bollocks, Billy. Because, unfortunately for you and numpties like you, in the real world of the reality based community manufactured “common knowledge” is not substantive credible evidence.

        But seeing as I like you today (I might not like you tomorrow) here is one of many available Janet on John explanations for you on the correct procedures and required standards of proof:

        https://www.bljsolicitors.co.uk/blog/understanding-the-standard-of-proof-in-criminal-cases/

        Don’t hesitate to get back to me – preferably before one of us croaks and shuttles off the mortal coil – when you have gathered what evidence you think you have which meets the standards required, Billy.

      12. Dave – You’re the pathetic numpty who is in denial and desperately trying to defend the likes of Assad.

        What is it that saddo pretend lefties like yourself find so attractive about the corrupt murderous regimes run by the likes of Putin and Assad?

      13. There you go again, Billy, throwing evidence free slanderous allegations about when the only question which has been raised is for you to provide evidence for your original claim as detailed above.

        So now the onus is on you to provide two sets of evidence rather than just one:

        1. The evidence for your original claims as laid out above.

        2. The evidence for your blatant slander in your post of 4:24pm 13/3/25 which states that I have expressed support for anyone or anything when all that has been requested is for you to provide evidence of your claims.

        I look forward to receiving the evidence requested – if you can find any,

      14. Dave – I’m quite happy for others to read your comments and draw their own conclusions on whether you are one of Putin’s gullible idiot or not and whether you are you the living embodiment of the horseshoe theory?

        What is it that saddo pretend lefties like yourself find so attractive about the corrupt murderous regimes run by the likes of Putin and Assad?

      15. In other words, you have no evidence to substantiate neither your claims nor your slanderous allegations, Billy.

        What a surprise.

      16. Dave – Don’t be silly, what specifically have I said that is slanderous?

      17. See point two, here……

        https://skwawkbox.org/2025/03/07/us-israel-reject-egypt-arab-summit-plan-to-rebuild-gaza/#comment-265289

        …….along with the once again repeated unevidenced outright defamatory lies contained in your concluding paragraph in the post of 1:35pm 14/03/25 which, in the present context of a UK Governing Party with track record of retrospective due process punishment rapidly preparing to make its involvement in the Western proxy war in Ukraine official, is akin to an accusation of treason.

        But if you are so confident on this point, have the balls to send me your address rather than hiding behind a pseudonym, and we can test the point with the appropriate third parties depending on how the (alleged) local third parties operate in this area.

        Alternatively, you could apologise and unequivocally withdraw your constant evidence free defamatory and libellous allegations.

      18. Dave – Oh dear, are you going to have me extradited? 😟

        I’ve simply expressed my honestly held opinions, which were formed as a consequence of reading your numerous posts and the webpages that you used to have attached to your username. Is there a reason that you decided to take these down?🌞
