Video: NHS and Israel contractor boasts about killing people for profit

Palantir CEO Alex Karp – who has huge contract to manage NHS data – says he’s sure shareholders are ‘enjoying this as much as I am’

Alex Karp, the chief executive of software company Palantir – which supplies military software and services to the Israeli occupation that has murdered and maimed hundreds of thousands of Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the West Bank and also has a huge contract from the UK government to manage NHS data – has told shareholders he’s sure they’re having as much fun as he is and approves of the company ‘scar[ing] enemies and on occasion kill[ing] them’.

Karp was speaking at an investor question and answer session as he also gushed about how great it is to have the ‘burden of being right… [and] explaining to your friends that you’re really happy’:

Palantir has also been linked, in a parliamentary enquiry and through investigative journalism, to the Cambridge Analytica data scandal, the deportation of immigrants by the US, has ties to the CIA and supplies services to help Israel’s military to select targets for death in Gaza.

Despite this record, the UK government granted the firm access to National Health Service data and pays it to manage the information. But at least Alex Karp and co are having a good time.

  1. Why has he not been arrested?
Anyone at any given time – in response to Dave Hansell

  2. Here is the original full length, initially audio, video on Youtube from which that clip is taken.

Some other gems which reveal the mindset at work here:

    – At 24 minutes 55 seconds: “….and much more importantly an impactful country that could power the West to it’s obvious innate superiority”

i.e. a more explicit statement of self-defined cultural superiority than that of Josep Borrell’s Garden/Jungle faux pas.

    – At around 28 minutes 36 seconds: “…..and last but not least, we believe we are making America more lethal, making our adversaries increasingly afraid of acting against the interests of America and especially Americans. And we are proud of our moral stance and we are very long on the US and what’s happening and will happen in the future.”

i.e. There are no other rules than ours and if you do not do as we tell you we will kill you.

Not to forget the part where one functionary around the table once again reveals the mindset that can only conceive of the world in terms of simplistic binary zero-sum outcomes of winners and losers when referring to China. Revelling in his ignorance and arrogance that he disagreed with Sam Altman on the concept of co-operation for the common good.

These people and the culture they represent are insane. They will wipe out life itself to get their own way.

    1. “we are proud of our moral stance” … he wouldn’t know a moral if he choked on it.

Every bit as monstrous as we have imagined from Palantir … but now spoken aloud. It seems to me that this ‘arrogance-supreme’ is the current modus operandi of those in control in the US – it has the same ring to it as Trump’s Gaza land-grab statement. The stance clearly is ‘We are taking complete control’ and daring anyone to stand up to them.
Though, there has already been some evidence of ‘backing down’ from the White House on the Gaza ‘riviera’ plan …

      1. There seems to be some lethal level kool-aid being consumed in certain parts of the non-corporate media over what the first weeks of Trump portend.

Arguably, the most succinct way of describing some of the positions being set out is that Trump is playing some kind of multidimensional chess.

At one end of this spectrum is the view that this has the potential to usher in some kind of new golden age (of all people, Gilbert Doctorow who seems more concerned these days with acting as a contrarian to differentiate himself from other peer commentators than adhering to his usual standards).

At the other end, that the current approach and actions of the Trump administration indicate a kind of retrenchment into a fortress America and multipolar spheres of influence.

In short, a great deal of hopium.

Consideration does not seem to have occurred that the evidence of Rubio’s recent utterings on multipolarity on January 15 in his Opening Remarks Before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee………

“So while America too often prioritized the global order above our core national interest, other nations continued to act the way nations have always acted and always will: in what they perceive to be their best interest. And instead of folding into the post-Cold War global order, they have manipulated it to serve their interests at the expense of ours.

The post-war global order is not just obsolete, it is now a weapon being used against us. And all this has led to a moment in which we must now confront the single greatest risk of geopolitical instability and of generational global crisis in the lifetime of anyone alive and in this room today. Eight decades later, we are once again called to create a free world out of the chaos, and this will not be easy. And it will be impossible without a strong and a confident America that engages in the world, putting our core national interests once again above all else.”

……along with the approach of the economic paper referenced here……

        https://nationalpost.com/opinion/ian-lee-this-is-trumps-plan-for-global-economic-domination

…..that what we are witnessing could just as easily be an internal reset in which one faction of the US ruling class oligarchy is abandoning the Liberal Faction’s approach of the UN/Breton Woods post WW2 Liberal order in favour of a different approach with the same hegemonic objectives?

  3. … and our ‘government’ pay this creature and gift him our NHS data to exploit. Grotesque.

    1. Palinter are not the only entity to receive largess from Governments.

The ongoing line by line audit of and removal of the grift that is US “Aid” – with its multi-billion dollar funding of a worldwide network of fake NGO’s and media propaganda outfits, is revealing some interesting recipients that explain a great deal about the level and depth of fake news polluting our information sphere.

Here’s the Telegraph, trying its best to polish that turd…..

      https://www.telegraph.co.uk/us/news/2025/02/05/bbc-media-action-charity-received-usaid-funding/

…..by use of the weasel word “charity” – which is merely a front for training yes men to peddle The Official Narrative.

The BBC received approximately $3.2 million in tax year 2023-24. Whilst, elsewhere, we learn that the New York Times received $3.1 million and Politico a whopping $32 million. With various employees in US Government departments and agencies receiving subscriptions in Politico with the US taxpayer picking up the tab (apparently $8 million in one year).

One example being 37 FDA (Food and Drug Administration) employees receiving Politico Pro subscriptions (which start at $10K a year per subscription) worth $517,000.

While the WEF received $52 million over five years.

He who pays the piper calls the tune and where there’s money, there’s a fiddle.

    1. That sad excuse of a human being should have his contract withdrawn forthwith due to his lack in ethics. We don’t want anything to do with people like him.

  4. Infantile, musk-like twunts like that ought to be haunted by two words.

    …Louis Mangione.

    (There’s one for every CEO)

  5. Kick Palantir out of all NHS contracts, and thus we would be more in line with the ICJ ruling.
Also see vile Trump is to announce sanctions against the International Court of Justice (which many countries are signed up to but not the USA & The Occupation Force in Palestine).
The oppressed of the world and their allies should retaliate by boycotting US holidays & goods whilst Primary School Politics but Dangerous Trump is President.
And the more humane & decent nations should step up their contributions to the ICJ and stand by it.
International law organisations and justice should not be bullied by Lumpen USA Leaders & Zionists.
BDS is a Peaceful form of protest & we have power in our hands, heads & pockets.
