Netanyahu delays Cabinet vote on deal as occupation military continues bombing refugees, killing dozens
Israel has slaughter at least 72 Palestinian civilians, mostly women and children, in continued bombing during what is supposed, under the ‘ceasefire’ announced last night, supposed to be a ‘conflict pause’ until the full supposed ceasefire comes into force on Sunday.
Israel’s intensified bombing – again targeting doctors and journalists as well as refugees huddled in tent camps – began almost the instant the so-called ‘deal’ was announced despite, or perhaps because of, Donald Trump’s sick ‘sweeteners’ to the Netanyahu government to incentivise it to agree.
At least 45 of the latest victims of Israel’s genocide were women and children, as Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reported:
People’s celebrations over the ceasefire announcement have been cut short by heavy waves of air strikes. This is the Israeli military norm. Many of the attacks have been in Gaza City, with the majority killed women and children. The attacks have also spanned the al-Mawasi evacuation zone and here in the central area. At least 20 children and 25 women are among the dead. Those who survived 15 months of war were hoping they would witness the ceasefire, but in the last minutes, we’ve seen many lose their lives.

Journalist Anas al-Sharif, who last night was filmed removing his protective equipment to celebrate the ceasefire announcement, had to put on his protective gear and return to his grim task of documenting Israel’s crimes. He reported harrowingly of the ‘execution’ of civilians by Israel in targeted strikes on helpless refugees:

Within a single hour.. 30 martyrs in Gaza City. This is a difficult and painful scene. The corpses of martyrs.. of children! These children were rejoicing for the end of the war. The Israeli Occupation army directly targeted them.
These are the only corpses that have been retrieved so far in these moments. We are reporting on more than 30 martyrs. These here are the children. These (children) were rejoicing for the ceasefire but the (Israeli) Occupation army executed this joy with the execution of these children.
Corpses are everywhere here. This scene occurred within a number of minutes.. and it became like this. Also here, are corpses of martyrs. These here are the corpses of martyrs. One is unable to describe this scene. One is unable to even speak.. these children.. children and elders.. seniors and women.
Really.. I mean.. we don’t know.. I don’t know what to say? This here is our situation. The Israeli Occupation does not want.. for the children, women, and families, who endured this war for this (long) period of time.. to live in peace, safety and joy. When they saw the scenes of joy and happiness, they executed these scenes.. by executing these innocents.
Keir Starmer and David Lammy, who tried to exploit the supposed ceasefire deal for political gain – with Lammy even flying to Israel for a photo-opportunity before it was announced – have said nothing about the continued slaughter.
The ‘ceasefire’ is a lie and a political ploy by Trump and Netanyahu, with the full collusion of the outgoing Biden administration. Israel is a terror state.

Does anyone expect any different from the Israelis.. And our government keeps sending military aid to help them do it!
Netanyahu and Co are as bad as the Nazis, 75% of the Jewish population in Europe was exterminated in the concentration camps.
So far Israel has only managed to eliminate around 2% of the population in Gaza but, it isn’t for lack of trying. Unlike the Jews that were unable to defend themselves and were taken like lambs to the slaughter the Palestinians are armed.
When the ICJ finally delivers its sentance we need a Trial similar to Nuremberg to deliver the same type of justice Nuremberg delivered to guilty Nazis: death by hanging.

Such a process also needs to include not only the perpetrators but also their sponsors who have aided and abetted them. That would include not only the bulk of the Western political class but also the lobbyists such as AIPEC and FoI, the media whores, and other enablers/apologists.

Fully agree David. Israel wouldn´t have been able to carry on with its genocide against the Palestinians without the collusion of the US, UK and Germany governments as principal sponsors of Israel´s genocide.

I agree Dave, we only need to see how Israel is implementing the agreed cease fire in Lebanon. Israel is using the ceasefire to invade areas that didn´t manage to enter before the ceasefire.
What the US and France as guarantors are doing to stop Israel? Absolutely nothing. What the UNIFIL troops in the are are doing? Monitoring the situation and reporting Israel´s breaches but, ultimately nobody is stopping Israel.
The same will happen in Gaza. Israel is pursuing the total destruction of the Palestinian population in Gaza by means of war, disease and hunger.
