Flintoff show Facebook page suspended – without explanation – and attacked by hackers

After being hit by restrictions yesterday, left-wing analysis show now suspended and could be permanently deleted – while impostor clone-page mimics it

As Skwawkbox reported on Friday, the Meta-owned Facebook social media platform – already known to be heavily restricting the reach of Palestinian, pro-Palestinian and left-wing news pages, including Skwawkboxput unexplained restrictions on the page belonging to the Crispin Flintoff Show (CFS), which uses Facebook to advertise, and invite viewers to watch, its popular Sunday news round-up on Zoom.

As of Saturday, the platform has completely suspended the CFS page without explanation of its reasons, warning Flintoff that if he doesn’t successfully appeal the unexplained ‘reasons’ for the suspension it will be deleted entirely:

At the same time, an unknown person or organisation has set up a fake personal page for Flintoff, exposed by the attempts of Skwawkbox readers who watch the show to message him – and the messages showing that they are not ‘friends’ with the fake page:

A viewer’s messaging attempt to the fake Flintoff account, which shows they are ‘not friends on Facebook’.

Flintoff told Skwawkbox that his legitimate account has also been subject to a hacking attack and that he is no longer sure whether any of the show pages on the platform are now run by him.

Flintoff’s YouTube show has run a number of interviews and analyses recently highlighting Israel’s crimes, the propaganda of its cheerleaders and the collusion of British government figures in its genocide in Gaza and assaults on other neighbouring countries.

The show continues on YouTube from Sunday morning regardless of the Facebook attacks. Skwawkbox has not been rewarded or incentivised for this article.

  1. Well – It shows you everything you need to know about the scum who run Facebook.
I’ve never been a “friend” of Facebook.
    – – – – Obviously – A wise call !

  2. Well done, Skwawkie! A friend in need…and all that!

Is this the push that the left media needs, for more co-operation between – what has been – a fragmented alternative to the MSM?

One thought occurs – the many readers and subscribers could play their part by being more proactive in sharing articles and posts, from the various sources.

Flood the various social media platforms and show these control freak geeks that there is a demand for the left media, whether they like it or not.

  3. Only the truth but nothing but the truth we get whot they want us to see or listen to the rich are in control

  4. Sadly he is learning the oldest lesion on the internet. If you don’t own the page your publishing on then you are NOT in control of it. They can take it away at a drop of a hat for any reason.

You need to control your home page at least via your own URL and secure that to the highest standards. With huge complicated passwords and two factor authentication otherwise you can easily be hacked.

I know people say it’s expensive and hard to do but with companies like wix, square space and many others that have easy to learn and understand systems. So anyone with very little understanding of the backend stuff can produce there own website and own and control it. I know Facebook has the reach your using, but that is a two edged sword that can hurt you. Don’t trust them for everything like your learning now.

Good luck and I hope you get everything back under your control.
