UK, western media calling it anything but ‘invasion’ as Israel exploits collapse of Assad regime and attacks terror groups it supported
After another night of mass bombing of Syrian capital Damascus that Qatari news outlet Al Jazeera dubbed one of the largest in Israel’s history, tanks of the Israeli occupation force are said to be less than twenty miles from Damascus in an invasion that UK and other western media will not call what it is.
Israel spent years aiding the terror groups such as ISIS and al-Qaeda that took over Syria on Sunday and drove out former Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, treating wounded fighters in military field hospitals set up in the illegally-occupied Syrian Golan Heights, while the US only last week was filmed using its ground-attack aircraft against Syrian government forces.
But as soon as these groups had toppled the government Israel turned on them, bombing residential areas, government buildings, fuel and arms depots in and around the capital and, after initially seizing more ground around the Golan Heights as a supposed ‘buffer zone’, rolled on in a full-scale invasion.
Yet UK media still avoid using the word, as journalist Assal Rad has pointed out:
Israeli Army Radio confirmed that Israeli forces are currently beyond the so-called buffer zone between Israel and Syria in south Syria’s Quneitra Governorate only thirty kilometres – less than twenty miles – from Damascus.
Al Jazeera Arabic has reported that Israeli troops have also taken control of the summit of Mount Hermon’s and surrounding villages within the demilitarised zone, first set up in 1974.
Like their media counterparts, UK government politicians are not even mentioning the invasion, let alone condemning it – a clear demonstration of hypocrisy given their loud and continuing attacks on Russia for invading Ukraine:
Their silence on Israel’s continuing genocide in Gaza, its expulsion and oppression of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, its continuing assault on Lebanon and its apartheid within its own borders is just as deafening.
The British establishment is an active partner in terror-stage Israel’s genocide, war crimes and land-grab.

It makes sense for Israel to behave this way. Israel realises that in order to keep its Zionist state this is their last chance.
Israel need to win at all cost by taking as much territory as possible and kill as many Palestinian as possible while pushing Lebanese and Syrians out of the areas in their own countries that Israel’s right wing political groups sees as belonging to Israel.
Israel knows that as soon as the ICC resolve the current case against Israel and officially declares that Israel has committed genocide, Israel knows it is the end of their exclusive Zionist State.
Hence, Israel is going to try to impose the facts on the ground: to have as much Israeli Zionists settled in those areas as possible so even when Israel as a Zionist entity will eventually fail, the majority of the population in the targeted area will be Zionist Jews. Thus, the UN Security Council will not pass resolutions asking for these settlements to be erased.

It seems the west is on board for Israel’s greater Israel project [GIP] not just the river to the sea, but enveloping Jordan, Syria and Iraq – and that is just for starters; after the fall of Syria they can see this ‘GIP’ falling into their hands quite easily.
