Clare Rogers says Keir Starmer is the terrorist for enabling Israel’s genocide
Clare Rogers’s daughter Zoë is one of a group of Palestine Action ‘actionists’ who is being inexcusably held for a year before trial, after being charged with criminal damage to an Israeli weapons factory in Bristol. The imprisonment is part of Keir Starmer’s escalating campaign of arrests, seizures and harassment against anti-genocide journalists and activists, many of them Jewish.
And Ms Rogers, in a powerful interview, said that when her daughter apologised to her for being locked up, she told Zoë she had done nothing to apologise for – and went on to say that Keir Starmer is the terrorist and war criminal for doing nothing to stop Israel’s genocide in Gaza, which has now been confirmed as genocide by Amnesty International as well as United Nations experts and other human rights groups:
Keir Starmer should be in the Hague, alongside the Israeli war criminals he and his cronies refuse to say they will send there if they enter the UK, despite the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrants and the condemnation of the UN, human rights groups and the very concept of humanity.

These are all the morbid signs of a failing political system that has st itself the task of maintaining the status quo at all costs.
I heard an interview this morning with the leader of a Labour council who said that the government’s target for 1.5million new homes was not possible to achieve, and on her patch, virtually impossible. This followed a consultation process in which local authority saying this had not been responded to.
If we are in that kind of situation, then Starmer will be having a government relaunch every six months for the next four years.
But watching and hearing the bleatings of Tory spokespersons criticizing the current government really is pathetic.
The retort “And what did you achieve in this area, in your fourteen years in power?” should be sufficient, but it isn’t.

Shocking turn of events: Constitutional Court cancels first round of presidential elections in Romania

Although the voting process already started outside Romania for second round of the presidential elections, the first round has been annulled by the Constitutional Court, as announced in a recent press release. This unprecedented decision comes after the Court found significant irregularities that could have affected the election results.
The Constitutional Court (CCR) has unanimously annulled the first round of the presidential elections, citing evidence uncovered through the declassification of critical documents by the Supreme Council of National Defense (CSAT). This decision is further supported by ongoing investigations conducted by the General Prosecutor’s Office and DIICOT, which revealed severe irregularities in the electoral process.
As a result, the electoral process will be restarted and rescheduled. The new date for the elections will be determined by the Permanent Electoral Authority in consultation with the government. In the meantime, the ongoing voting in the diaspora, where approximately 33,000 citizens have already cast their ballots, will be halted.

SHE’s absolutely correct:
1 – If Starmer had never been DPP (under Cameron and Osborne, )then peaceful protestors (such as Clare’s daughter, Zoë) would not be prosecuted and imprisoned. Moreover,
2 – if Blair’s wretched Terrorism Act 2000 had not ensured broad positions and opinions could be “proscribed” and criminalised, Zoë would not have been incarcerated for a year before trial.
We should remember SW’s earlier warning:
“Starmer and his machine must not succeed, for the sake of the millions of victims of genocide in Palestine and its neighbours but also for the sake of even a semblance of democracy and decency in this country.”
That ‘semblance of democracy’ looks less healthy every single day Sir Keir of the BlackRock remains in Downing Street. Get him OUT.
