Starmer’s collusion in Israel’s genocide only deepens – and the UN’s experts show him for what he really is

Keir Starmer’s smug dismissal, in the Commons chamber today, of the idea that Israel’s slaughter of around 200,000 people, maiming of many more – and its deliberate starvation of hundreds of thousands of civilians still clinging on – is a genocide is disgusting and shows him up for the war-crimes participant that he is:
Starmer started his criminal snidery with the claim that it would be:
wise to start a question like that by reference to what happened in October of last year.
Well, what happened in October of last year – as even Israel’s media now freely admits but UK politicians and media continue to ignore – is that Israel’s military killed an ‘immense’ (the IDF’s own word) number of its own citizens, knowing full well what it was doing, and there were no rapes, no beheaded babies:
What has happened since is approaching a thousand murdered Palestinian babies and tens of thousands of children, with the biggest number of victims in any age group consisting of children from four to nine years old:

And as well as its mass slaughter, Israel has targeted hospitals, water supplies, sanitation, schools, universities, aid workers, medics and paramedics, to cause the lethal collapse of Palestinian life support systems, and is arming criminal gangs to stop any food reaching the starving – and is murdering journalists as fast as it can to try to stop more news of its crimes coming out.
UN legal expert and Special Rapporteur for Palestine Francesca Albanese knows, and she and others are not shy about saying it:
Nor is it only Albanese. Dozens of legal and human rights experts signed a United Nations Human Rights Commission letter calling Israel’s actions genocide and demanded international action to stop it:
Francesca Albanese, Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967; Margaret Satterthwaite, Special Rapporteur on the Independence of Judges and Lawyers; Dorothy Estrada Tanck (Chair), Claudia Flores, Ivana Krstić, Haina Lu, and Laura Nyirinkindi, Working group on discrimination against women and girls; Surya Deva, Special Rapporteur on the right to development; Ravindran Daniel (Chair-Rapporteur), Sorcha MacLeod, Chris Kwaja, Jovana Jezdimirovic Ranito, Carlos Salazar Couto, Working Group on the use of mercenaries; Barbara G. Reynolds (Chair), Bina D’Costa, Dominique Day, Catherine Namakula, Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent; Pedro Arrojo-Agudo, Special Rapporteur on the human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation; Olivier De Schutter, Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights; Farida Shaheed, Special Rapporteur on the right to education; Damilola Olawuyi (Chairperson), Robert McCorquodale (Vice-Chairperson), Elżbieta Karska, Fernanda Hopenhaym, and Pichamon Yeophantong, Working Group on the issue of human rights and transnational corporations and other business enterprises; Siobhán Mullally, Special Rapporteur on trafficking in persons, especially women and children; Livingstone Sewanyana, Independent Expert on the promotion of a democratic and equitable international order; Balakrishnan Rajagopal, Special Rapporteur on the right to adequate housing; Ashwini K.P. Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance; Paula Gaviria Betancur, Special Rapporteur on the human rights of internally displaced persons; Mary Lawlor, Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders; Claudia Mahler, Independent Expert on the enjoyment of all human rights by older persons; Ben Saul, Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms while countering terrorism; Irene Khan Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Opinion and Expression; Ms Reem Alsalem, Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls, its causes and consequences; Tomoya Obokata, Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of slavery, including its causes and consequences; Damilola Olawuyi (Chairperson), Robert McCorquodale (Vice-Chairperson), Elżbieta Karska, Fernanda Hopenhaym, and Pichamon Yeophantong, Working Group on the issue of human rights and transnational corporations and other business enterprises.
Israel is a war criminal, rogue, terror state committing genocide and to cover for its crimes, as he and Foreign Secretary David Lammy have persistently done, is to participate in those crimes. Mr Starmer should stick that shameful fact in his lying throat until he gags on it.

Q.
What do all those special rapporteurs’ remits have in common?
A.
Keef does not give a flying fuck about a single one of them, and has the form to prove it.
He’s well aware of the definition of genocide.
He’s well aware of what defines a working (class) person
…And a woman.
…And renationalisation.
In fact, he’s so well aware that it does not matter a fucking iota how everyone else defines it.
A few horrible bastards get filled in after causing near riots before and after a a footy game in another foreign nation – and keef and his toadies are shrieking that it’s a pogrom
And yet, tens of thousands of innocents, murdered, maimed, displaced and diseased because of those same horrible bastards against the people they stole the land from – and its NOT a genocide
‘Orridable little SHITE that he is.
Couldn’t agree more. He’s a holocaust denier in the manner of the impotent UN, who continue to deny that a land clearance by missiles, bombs and snipers on Civilians are not War Crimes! 200,000 deaths so far and still no change of the line ‘Israel has the right to defend itself’ while thousands of Palestinians are dying! He’s a charlatan!
The power is perhaps with capital who could with their media & apologists decide to retain Right Wing Lab in 5 years time but only if they prove themselves loyal servants, effectively policing grassroots diverse working class & grassroots trade union militancy?
Or they could revert to the Neo-Liberal Capitalist 1st XI Tories, now more extreme & then tell Reform to fall into class line & have an alliance with them, and probably only standing in working class areas?
Of course we Socialists could carry on as bystanders waiting for one of our ‘Leaders’ to have strategic thinking?
We would need a brand name who the masses know like Corbyn as a President of a new Left Wing Democratic Socialist Party but WE need to become the cavalry NOW, not in 4.5 years time.
Who amongst us will lay the foundation stone?
Solidarity.
We don’t need to tell one another WHAT Starmer is, he tells us EVERY DAY what he is.
What bit of “in whole OR IN PART” does the **** not understand?
“Article II
In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part”
https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2023/11/activating-the-genocide-convention/
Not to mention the ethnic cleansing of north Gaza, torture, rape, targetting of journalists, hospitals, children and aid…
If you believe Israel I have some bridges on buy one, get one free.
Our government is criminal and our police corrupt. We executed war criminals at Nuremberg and we should do so again!
Meanwhile, Blair’s government shows once again that it opposes nuclear disarmament:
New efforts to understand nuclear war
Ireland and New Zealand, along with a wide, cross-regional group of 48 co-sponsors, put forward a new resolution “Nuclear war effects and scientific research”. The resolution was broadly supported with 144 votes in favour, 3 against (France, Russian Federation, and the United Kingdom), and 30 abstentions. As a result, the UN Secretary General will put together a panel to examine 21st century science on the climactic, environmental, radiological, and physical effects of nuclear war, and publish a comprehensive report, including areas requiring future research. The last UN study on this topic was published in the 1980s.
ICAN welcomes the UNGA’s decision to bring top scientists together to report on what the impact of a nuclear war would be. So much has changed since the last UN report, up to date science is needed to understand the consequences of nuclear weapons use.

Just a reminder of what that quasi human being Lammy said a little over 2 weeks ago……..
UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy speaking in Parliament said that Genocide was too strong a word to describe the massacres in Gaza. This diatribe from Lammy beggars belief since he thinks too few people have been killed to describe it as such. Three genocides formally designated as such by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) at the Hague since the Genocide Convention was passed in 1951. The Srebrenica massacre, with eight thousand victims, is one, Lammy is a lawyer by profession. He knows better, because he is a lawyer – and because as Shadow Foreign Secretary he spoke to commemorate the Srebrenica genocide:
Over 5 times the official number have been killed in Gaza 42,000 [a recent Lancet report put the true figure at 185,000. Lammy and Starmer are degenerates who shame the human race. https://skwawkbox.org/2024/10/28/video-lammy-says-unhelpful-to-say-israel-committing-genocide-because-not-enough-people-killed/
“Israel is committing the holocaust of our time, and it is doing it in full view of a seemingly indifferent world.”

I think it would be befitting if his (Human Rights) Lawyer accreditation were recinded as he continually breaks or ignores national and international laws re human rights and genocide. He is so flippin arrogant and up his own rearend, simply awful.
Starmer, Biden, Harris and Trump have all become Holocaust Deniers. Mmmm..hoisted by their own petards.. Weaponising antisemitism is back-firing on them.
btw – Abdulhawa’s (Guardian-rejected) article on novara is excllent and compelling. Thanks DH.
@SebineEF, 1.59pm: Starmer’s ‘forensic’ legal skills are looking more faked, pseudo and forged every day…. https://skwawkbox.org/2024/11/12/uns-special-rapporteur-for-palestine-albanese-a-hero-says-holocaust-survivor/#comment-261396
Indeed, Lammy is very confused when it comes to genocide. When he spoke at that commemoration you mentioned it certainly wasn’t a numbers game to him then. His name is listed in the attendees here: https://srebrenica.org.uk/news/27th-anniversary-of-srebrenica-genocide-marked-by-uk-national-srebrenica-memorial-parliamentary-reception
