Scottish voters hate what they’ve seen of Starmer and mini-Starmer Sarwar

Voters in Scotland and around the UK are continuing to abandon Keir Starmer’s Labour, causing a collapse in the party’s projected number of parliamentary seats at the next election regardless who is leading the Tory party, according to the latest poll of Westminster voting intention. The party also had a horrendous set of by-elections last night, losing a hatful of the seats it was defending and showing huge declines in vote share – as much as half in some places.
The collapse is most decisive in Scotland, where the SNP – which itself collapsed to lose three quarters of its seats in July – resurgent to take an expected landslide of thirty-nine seats instead of the nine it managed in this year’s general election – but Labour would lose one hundred and one seats next time round if the standings remain the same. The biggest beneficiary of Labour’s collapse in England would be the neo-fascist Reform ‘party’, again demonstrating the severe danger that Starmer’s visionless, red-Tory so-called ‘centrism’ poses to the future of the UK.
The collapse is being widely portrayed, at least where it’s getting a mention, as a damning verdict on Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar. But Sarwar got the job after left-winger Richard Leonard was ousted by Starmer to please rich donors and the Scottish party has long been, with the exception of the Corbyn years, treated by the Labour establishment as a branch of the English party and expected to do as it’s told. There is little doubt that the collapse is driven primarily by Starmer’s enthusiasm for genocidal Israel and his and his Chancellor’s massive escalation of Tory austerity, alongside the fact that Sarwar is politically a mini-Starmer and would never be allowed by Starmer to hold the job if he were not.
The SNP, for all its flaws, looks appetising to Scottish voters by comparison to the toxic blancmange Starmer’s Labour offers.

Careful Skwawky, it’s truth-telling like that that’ll cost you another strike on social media!
Its not like they weren’t warned about Starmer and his cronies. Buyers remorse? A swing back to the Scots Nats is inevitable.
Scots are mad as hell with Starmer and mini-starmer Sarwar. Even Labour’s core supporters in Scotland, the”BetterTogether” disciples, are horrified that Starmer and Reeves’ only message is Black-Hole Austerity.
Like people in the rest of the UK, they know this inflicts “Truss levels of economic vandalism”. That’s not what they vote Labour for.
They’re beginning to work out that Skeir Rodney Starmer is a pro-Zionist, pro-corporates Tory in faux-Labour clothing.
Even after its defeat, the SNP still did rather better than in 2010 when its mini-breakthrough failed to materialise.
