Video: ‘Israel ignores calls to stop killing civilians, what will govt DO?’ Dodds – ‘We’ll look closely at reports’

Appalling non-answer as Middlesbrough MP demands action to stop genocide

Middlesbrough MP Andy McDonald gave a strong speech in Parliament yesterday, in which he recalled the horror of burning patients seen worldwide after another atrocity caused by Israel bombing civilians in tents at the weekend – and went on to demand of government minister Anneliese Dodds what the government is going to do to force Israel to stop slaughtering civilians, because it ignores calls to obey international law.

Dodds’s response – in as many words, with a few more besides to the same effect – was that the scenes of burning people were ‘very difficult’ and it will ‘look very closely at reports’, including the report of the burning of civilians at the Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, to see if there are any breaches of international humanitarian law (IHL):

Israel ignores calls to obey the law in its mass murder of Palestinians, so we’ll look at it and make some more calls, basically.

Well done McDonald for calling genocide what it is and putting a spotlight on the UK government’s inaction, complicity and active collusion.

  1. Ah, ha! Matt Milleritis.

‘We’re waiting for the Israelis to finish their impartial investigation!’

    1. Exactly what I thought. Dodds has been watching US press conferences with Miller etc.

  2. Another of your posts removed. This one I think. Apparently I am posting it for likes.
