Palestinian Christians under attack again
Video footage shows the moment that an Israeli missile almost hit a Gaza church full of Palestinian Christians praying. The missile hit a house next to the St Porphyrius church, killing and injuring women and children from the local community:
Attacks on Palestinian Christians should be a red flag for US Zionists, many of who are right-wing Christians who support Israel because they think its establishment brings the return of Christ closer. However, Israel’s expectation that it can do what it wants and still have US support appears to be correct and the occupation regime has demonstrated repeatedly that its contempt for Palestinian Christians is no different to its contempt for Palestinian Muslims.
Soon after last year’s raid by Hamas, Israel blew up the Christian-run Al Ahli hospital before trying and failing to blame it on a stray Hamas missile – a lie exposed by a too-quick tweet by a Netanyahu staffer as well as by expert technical analysis, a pattern that has been repeated time and again. Two Christian women, mother and daughter Nahida and Samar Anton, were killed by Israeli snipers as they crossed the courtyard of the Holy Family church and Israel has blown up numerous church buildings, including historic sites, with local Christians and other refugees sheltering inside.
So deep runs Israel’s contempt that its mouthpieces have even tried to deny the existence of Christians and their church buildings in Gaza.
Despite this, many right-wing US ‘Christians’, in and out of politics, continue to back Israel and demonise those who want to end the genocide. The Pope, in contrast, has condemned Israel’s military as a terrorist organisation.

Thanks for the links, SteveH, appreciate your evaluation. Two follow-on thoughts occur to me.
1 – Imperial forces often seize archaeological artefacts of the cultures or races they conquer. Their motive can be scientific (to do with knowledge), but is often about subjugating the victims, the colonist takes the artefact of the subject country and, by placing it in a museum (or the Knesset) shows their domination and (assumed) superiority. A Power statement?
2 – Re Israel and the fact that the US is the financier of Zionist Imperialism, Like the ‘Official Narratives’ (thanks, DaveH) that ran on ISIS (an entity largely created by the CIA) destroying 10 historical sites in Syria (say) – this is CULTURAL imperialism – like Billionaires and the landed aristocracy before them, the Power elite have to demean those they have power over and, secondly, assert their moral superiority over them, thereby justifying their own position, and its moral, economic and political authority. After all, God gave the English (not a typo) their empire to civilise the world and (eventually, still waiting…) give it Democracy!

And that’s an important message for westerners to be indoctrinated with.”
