Colombian president signs decree and condemns Israel’s slaughter of children

Colombian president Gustavo Petro has signed a decree ending the country’s exports of coal to Israel because of Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza. Before the decree, Colombia was Israel’s biggest fossil fuel supplier.
Petro, who is pushing through improvements in pensions, healthcare access, labour laws and education for ordinary Colombians despite resistance and an attempted ‘soft coup’ by right-wing, pro-US media and opposition groups, said of the decree that it was time to end the supply of Colombian coal which Israel was using,
to make bombs to kill Palestinian children.
Israel’s economy is said to be in a dire state because of the increasing number of countries refusing to do business with the genodical regime. Israel’s only port on the Red Sea and its third biggest overall, Eilat, declared bankruptcy last month because of the impact of Yemen’s blockade of shipping bound for Israel. The US and UK governments, shamefully, continue to shore up the apartheid state despite the almost 200,000 Palestinians Israel has murdered since 7 October last year, when it killed an ‘immense’ number of its own people during a Hamas raid.

And according to the FT the Israeli (should be known as the Occupation Force) economy is expected to take a £40b hit by the end of the year.
McDonalds & Starbucks are also taking large hits to profits thanks mainly to mass boycotts in the Middle East so capital is taking powerful body punches thanks to the success of BDS.
The USA & Israel & other countries whilst boosting arms sales (BAE orders up £15b in last 6 months, Rhinemetal, Germany up to £48.6b-FT) want Gaza’s land, gas, oil & to build a new canal in the Levant, and the rest of the West despite all the absolute Pure Blather want a piece of the action; so Palestinians are being slaughtered for profits.
But why must the capitalists always use violence to achieve their ends?
If they were less greedy a Secular Free Multi-Ethnic Democratic State of Palestine (from the rivers to the sea with the Right of Palestine Refugees to Return) could exploit its own resources & build a new canal if it wishes which could benefit world trade.
We need heavyweight left wing Democratic Socialist Leaders instead of the current crop of Lightweight Western Leaders who put profit ahead of humanity.
Looks like the next colour revolution is set for Colombia.
…Which the daily heil would doubtlessly link to the recent visit by that communist ginger hewitt, and his chavtastic american trollop
Good on ya, Columbia. Balls of steel right there!
