When left former MP Claudia Webbe posted on X calling for a ceasefire to end Israel’s slaughter of children, Levy ‘quote tweeted’ her comment with a claim that the murder of children in Gaza is not ‘the real world’, but that reality is in fact Israel evacuating children from Gaza for medical treatment. The fact that they need medical treatment because of Israel’s genocide and use of starvation as a weapon didn’t get a mention:
Of course, it didn’t go well. As even Levy’s successor as vile Israeli mouthpiece David Mencer admitted last week, Israel is losing the PR war. Lies about murdering 200,000 civilians, half of them children, and maiming many more tend not to end well, as the hundreds of replies to Levy’s malignant nonsense, which came just after Israel murdered baby twins in Gaza with ‘precision’ missiles, showed:

By cutting off this supply, Colombia is using its economic clout to champion human rights and international law. It’s a powerful reminder that nations can and should use their resources to promote peace, not fuel war.
But let’s not kid ourselves – this won’t be a walk in the park for Colombia. The Colombian Mining Association is already crying foul, bleating about “international commitments” and “foreign investment”. They’re worried about the bottom line, of course, not the bombed-out hospitals of Gaza.
