Treating something as serious as an election like it was some sort of zero sum sporting contest the way you are is the position of someone with the mind and maturity of a child.
What matters is that as a result of the manufactured absence of real choice – which is limited to two sections of the political class serving an oligarchy – the losers here will be the majority of the populace and the country as a whole arising from the continuation of the same failed and unworkable policy paradigm regardless of who forms an administration next week.
Both leaders are making a mockery of the democratic process. Sunak’s body language and demenour visibly portrays someone going through the motions who cannot wait to escape. Whilst Starmer’s so called ‘Labour’ Party are disenfranchising voters across dozens of constituencies by effectively withdrawing registered Labour Party candidates and denying them information to carry out their function under the Representation of the People Act and in breach of PPERA2000.
Withdrawing their candidate in Clacton and letting the figurehead of the knuckle dragging community – Farage – have a uncontested run at the seat is not only disenfranchising non-right wing voters and the political left in that constituency (as well as other Constituencies) it is also going to make Britain a far more uglier society by encouraging that vociferous minority.
This is not an election it is a farce. A mockery. However, living where you are (allegedly) you are not directly affected by the negative outcomes of this travesty are you Billy.
It won’t you getting the sack for complaining to your boss after arriving at work to find your employer hosting the EDL. Though its unlikely you would care given your very obvious support for and excuse of neo-nazis in Ukraine.
Or you having no safe spaces – toilets, changing rooms, rape crisis centers etc – as a result of those long won rights being effectively withdrawn in favour of others with no consideration that the majority deserve reciprocal rights. Or being unable to obtain a divorce from a partner in the process of getting a GRC.
It won’t be you, Billy, struggling to make ends meet as more and more limited resources are shoveled towards a small minority of leeches leaving more and more of the majority heading towards penury from the continuation of illiterate economic nonsense.
It won’t be you who is disenfranchised as a result of the withdrawal of meaningful democratic choice.

Three election campaign leaflets were delivered by the postie this morning.
A general one from Reform and two entirely different ones from the sitting Conservative MP addressed to the two voters at this address.
And what stood out in the one addressed to myself was the similarity with the election leaflets put out by ‘Tinge’ Smith her Captain Gormless Election Agent in this constituency back in 2017.
Both of which are/were constructed to;
1. Highlight the individual candidate rather than the Party
2. Relegate the Party logo
With both (Smith for the Red Tory’s in 2017 and the Blue Tory sitting MP this time around)) implicitly conceding the election.
Of the two, Tinge Smith’s leaflets from 2017 were more brazen. With regular references along the lines of ‘elect me and I will hold the Government (ie The Conservative brand of the uni-party) to account on x,y and z.’
Today’s leaflet does the same by urging us not to give Keir Starmer “A Blank Cheque.”
It was obvious to us back in 2017 what was going on and which subsequently came to light. And it is equally obvious that what is going on this time around is certainly not an election. It is a baton handover to the second eleven.

Glad you mentioned that, Toffee, because I distinctly remember that was the exact response I got when I questioned him month’s ago over his choice in the leadership contest.
It was in the context of all the candidates acquiescing to the BoD/JLM demands, which prompted me to leave the party as I could not support anyone with ties to external (let alone conservative) organisations that also have links to a foreign government.
How someone can go from that position to one of putting them on a pedestal is totally beyond me.
