And Channel 4 News coverage of the demo, unusually when Keir Starmer generally receives the softest handling from the so-called ‘mainstream’ media, highlighted the Labour right’s racism toward Ms Abbott – Britain’s first Black woman MP and the UK’s most abused – as much as that of the Tories, including comments by Martine Forde KC, the barrister appointed by Starmer to investigate the right’s disgusting behaviour revealed in a leaked Labour report and ignored ever since:
Solidarity with Diane Abbott – but she is better outside Starmer’s racist party than within it.

I don’t rate a Labour government when after 11 months they haven’t been able to investigate a short letter running to a couple of hundred words max. Blimey how could they ever make a decision on a law?
Joe, it’s clear to all decent people that Dianne’s short letter was an academic point re differentiating prejudice towards eg the Irish, Gypsies etc, with racism against eg black etc people, i.e. prejudice against RACES and peoples’ skin colours.
Of course some are keen to debate whether Jewishness is a race or a religion❓❓❓
NB, we hear the phrases “Jews of faith and none”, and “practising” and “none practising Jews”.
We never hear of practising nor “none practising – black, brown, African nor Causian people”.
That ACADEMIC debate, should be more than enough to guide politicians AWAY from such theoretical interventions on any issue let alone weaponised and armed ones. Such debates produce NOTHING of practical benefit to “the many” who are exploited day after day by the ONE PERCENT.
Politicians should stick to sustained emphasising and ridding us of eg the wholesale ripoff of the public purse by the few eg Baroness MONE, SERCO, RANDOX, Carillon, the new UK independent Economic Zones, and more… eg disproportionate exclusions of poor and black children, and disproportionate injustice towards same, AND Windrush, WASPI women, contaminated blood and more BASIC CLEAR injustices.
That said, despite the decades of abuse and ZERO support and care from parasites in the Labour Party eg Cooper Balls Harman Berger Reeves Hodge Straw Blair Ashworth Coyle Blunkett the Blair creature… Dianne’s letter was ill-advised and UNNECESSARY but fails to justify losing the whip. But more than one thing can be true at the same time. Habits are hard to change after decades. It’s crucial for the newbies to LEARN from the errors of those senior to them.
That letter and other unfortunate squandering of bandwidth, produced NOTHING constructive for the many, while making her victim to a weaponised issue by the most disingenuous, integrity free, evil people like SIR Keth Rodney Starmer. NB his selection for Rochdale was a man who said DEFINITIVE antisemitic words. That selection being only one of the multitude bits of evidence proving that SIR Keith & Co. have ZERO care about antisemitism except to weaponise it for purely sectarian purposes.

Just earlier there was a brief segment on CH4 news about MPs aki g for Abbott to be reinstated. They interviewed a white female Welsh labour MP who said she thought it was about time the whip was returned to Abbott.

Also – supposedly for an “independent” enquiry Starmer has already put his
oar in and expressed his own opinion about not being able to “forgive” Diane.
The latter particularly angered me given what Diane has suffered from Labour
staffers and others – and the was before the recent incident. Secondly her letter
was a DRAFT and never meant to be published and when I read it I could not
understand what she was getting at. In fact one wonders why the Observer
published it?
I’m going to say it anyway ‘Diane Abbott is racist & has a history of insulting people with white skin from comments like ‘too many blue eyed nurses’ to denying the history of ‘the most persecuted people on earth, the Gypsies’. What’s so special about Diane Abbott who can see no further than the colour of her own skin?
Diane is far more sinned against than sinning. No one is perfect, she has made miss steps. However, DA is on the left, New New Labour were always going to find an excuse to kick her out.
I don’t know what ‘on the left’ means anymore as David Cameron (Civil Partnerships) is also defined in those terms. It used to mean you were a Socialist but Starmer & Blair say they are too. Does it mean you read the Guardian?
