Sisters Uncut stages mass sit-in in Liverpool Street station
Sisters Uncut, a feminist group working against domestic and sexual violence and which has come firmly out in support of Gazan civilians against Israeli genocide, has taken over Liverpool Street station in the East End of London to campaign for a ceasefire to protect the innocent civilians of Gaza.
In a tweet announcing the sit-in, the group said:
WE ARE HERE BECAUSE THERE ARE NO LIGHTS FOR THE CIVIL RESCUE TEAMS THAT ARE PULLING PEOPLE FROM THE RUBBLE. CEASEFIRE NOW. END UK COMPLICITY. PALESTINE MUST BE FREE.

The sit-in came after Labour ‘leader’ Keir Starmer shamefully – and ridiculously – refused to call for a ceasefire because stopping Israel’s bombing of women and children permanently might lead to ‘more violence’. He also refused to say that Israel is committing war crimes, claiming politicians should not decide that – even though he was perfectly prepared to condemn alleged Russian war crimes in Ukraine.
Solidarity with the people of Palestine. Ceasefire now.

His warped, twisted logic is that if there’s a ceasefire, it would be an opportunity for Hamas to launch another attack like the one on October 7th. And it’s aimed at the majority who have swallowed all the lies and demonisation and atrocity propaganda and, as such, believe such nonsense. If there was a ceasefire then of course Hamas would comply with it, but it would have to lead to a solution for the Palestinians, and for them to be free to live their lives. Starmer, Sunak and Biden et al speak about the two-state solution, and do so knowing full well that it’s been unviable for years. They are of course all totally untrustworthy and duplicitous, but with millions -tens of millions – of us keeping the pressure on them to make something happen, it could come to fruition in the not too distant future. It’s way, WAY past time!
Starmer thinks he’s so clever and superior and can dupe and deceive everyone, but his position on Gaza is totally untenable, and he’s just showing himself up to an ever increasing number of people for the shallow fraud that he is.
Just to elaborate: Obviously a ceasefire would only happen if both sides agreed to it. Yes, the millions of people calling for a ceasefire are of course saying it in respect of Israel’s massacre of Palestinians and the obliteration of Gaza with their endless bombing, but it goes without saying that a ceasefire would only work if both sides agreed to it. And they know damn well that Hamas would agree to one!
As for the Humanitarian Pause idea, it is of course a sick psychopathic joke on the part of the mass-murdering warmongers, the very same people who provoked Russia into invading Ukraine and, as such, are responsible for all the death and destruction and displacement and devastation going on there, and who duped and deceived hundreds of millions of people along with their respective media. As with Iraq, and Libya, and Syria……….
Jews Against Genocide, also, played a big part in that Occupation.
That, in turn, upset quite a few Zionists who had tweeted to complain about ‘anti-Semitism’, and how ‘terrified’ Jews were in, and around, Liverpool Street Station.

As the call for a ceasefire grows, and millions around the world march and demonstrate against the mass murder every single day of hundreds of men, women and children and babies in Gaza, the fascists – because THAT is what they are – come up with ever-more pathetic reasons why there shouldn’t be a ceasefire, including Starmer of course, along with Sunak et al. And each and everyone of these lying bastards is complicit in these daily mass murders, and they are lying through their goddam teeth when they claim that they are concerned about the Palestinians. The reality is that these people, as with Netanyahu and Co, are Psychopaths of the highest order, and they know that the vast majority of people don’t have the slightest inkling that they are, and, that it is inconceivable to them that they ARE psychopaths. And that is why they can get away with the slaughter of millions, and in this instance, give Netanyahu carte blanch to kill and maim and destroy until his black heart is satiated. You have to understand that these people are mega-sadists and they – like Bush and Blair and Co – get a total rush from this orgy of death and destruction. They are not human in any sense that we – non-psychopaths – think in terms of, and it would be more accurate to describe them anti-human.
The reality is that the anti-human psychopaths in the US and Europe have fully endorsed their Israeli psychopath buddies in all they’ve done and been doing for seventy-five years or more, and if and when the issue comes to the fore, as of now, for example, they make all sorts of pronouncements about finding a permanent solution, and do so knowing that when the focus is no longer on the Palestinians, they can just forget all about them until the next crisis arises, which of course is always Israel killing Palestinians en masse one way or another – ie either bombing them or shooting them.
I’ve had the TV on mute whilst typing this out, but a short while ago it came up on the screen that nearly 9,000 Palestinians have now been killed in Gaza. If I remember correctly a journalist asked Starmer yesterday after he finished his B/S speech, how many men, women and children will have to be killed in Gaza before he calls for a ceasefire, and, needless to say, he avoided answering the question and slithered his way out of it. But how many will it be?! 15,000, 20,000, 25,000, 30,000? 50,000?!!
These people really are the scum of the earth!
And when will the Israeli people realise that they brought October the 7th on themselves!
