WHO chief condemns Israel’s threat to bomb Al-Quds hospital and makes impossible evacuation demand
Israel has threatened to bomb yet another Gazan hospital. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent – part of the international Red Cross humanitarian network – Israel has told Al-Quds hospital to evacuate staff and patients because it will be bombed. This is an unequivocal war crime, as World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has pointed out:

A Red Crescent representative told TV interviewers that the demand to move sick patients is impossible and that the hospital is also sheltering some 14,000 terrified refugees as well as its patients and staff.
Israel has tried to pin the blame for its killing of more than five hundred civilians in the Al-Ahli Christian hospital on Hamas, but its ‘evidence’ has repeatedly been exposed as fabricated. Israel has also bombed several other hospitals and its threat to bomb yet another makes fools or war criminals of those who continue to spread its disinformation about the mass murder of civilians.
Leaked documents have this morning exposed an Israeli ministry plan for the complete and permanent ethnic cleansing of Gaza.

“The Israeli government is set to allow police to use live fire against protesting Israeli citizens who block roads or entrances to towns during the “multi-front war” being waged by the country, public broadcaster Kan has reported.
Under the new rules, the police will only need permission from a senior officer before shooting to kill, the broadcaster said on Thursday. Israeli Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara has already agreed to fast-track the legislation, which might be introduced as soon as Sunday, it added.
The easing of live-fire rules was proposed by right-wing National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir even before the surprise attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7, in which 1,400 people were killed by Palestinian militants.
Ben Gvir told Kan in early October that he was “not ashamed to act, to make it so that it will be easier for our police officers to shoot those who threaten them.” According to the minister, changing the rules is “very important” as it would protect officers and allow them to carry out their duties more effectively.”

Please check out Newsnight from last Tuesday on Iplayer in which Kirsty Wark asks Rachael Riley about the increase in anti-semitism on account of the ‘war’, and RR tells a string of massive big black Nazi-type lies, including that she has seen a video of the pregnant woman who (allegedly) had her stomach cut open and her baby pulled out and killed, and not only her, but many people she knows have seen it too. Needless to say, if such a video existed we would have heard about it in the MSM. It’s about the last ten minutes of the program, and as far as I am aware, episodes of Newsnight are only up on Iplayer for one week, so you’ll need to check it out ASAP.
And, if anyone knows how to upload that particular segment to youtube and expose her for the nasty, vicious, malicious woman she is, that would be brilliant.

A journalist who produced a film defending Israel’s war crimes in Gaza for the BBC is the same man who wrote hoax stories about Palestine and Lebanon a decade ago, The Electronic Intifada has learned.
In 2002, South African-British freelance journalist Paul Martin posed as a Palestinian journalist writing from Bethlehem under the fake name Sayed Anwar. But Martin later had to admit there was no such person. Martin also sometimes uses the name Paul Cainer.
In stories written for right-wing broadsheet The Washington Times in 2002, Martin posed as a native informant reporting a “reign of terror” against Palestinian Christians by “hard-core Palestinian militants” who he claimed had “seized the Church of the Nativity” (“Exiled Palestinian militants ran two-year reign of terror,” 13 May 2002; “Arafat Aided group that besiged church,” 23 May 2002).
A few months later Martin was found by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to have attributed a fabricated quotation to Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Writing as Paul Martin on the front page of The Washington Times, he quoted Nasrallah as saying: “I encourage Palestinians to take suicide bombings worldwide. Don’t be shy about it” (“Hezbollah calls for global attacks,” 4 December 2002).
But CBC’s Neil Macdonald scoured the TV archives in Lebanon and found Nasrallah had never said any such thing. “The story originated not in the Middle East but in London, with this man [Paul Martin]” Macdonald concluded at the time. Martin publicly threatened to sue Macdonald and CBC but, unsurprisingly, he never did so.
Fabrications swept under the rug
Martin has re-emerged in recent years as a freelance filmmaker, his past swept under the rug. His documentary reports have appeared several times on the BBC’s flagship Newsnight program since 2008, mostly reporting on Palestinian fighters in Gaza. Newsnight described him as “our correspondent” on at least one occasion.
