Looked like a put-up job to me. Don’t think Starmer was in on it but someone in the media team thought it would be a useful way to get the jacket off and the sleeves rolled up which had much better optics than his dour jacket. Are we really to believe that the security was so lax that the guy got to the stage and had so long with Stamer before anyone intervened?
