New ‘We are the many’ tour kicks off in Islington 10 June

Series of events will commemorate the spirit and politics of the left movement that has terrified the Establishment

A new tour by the excellent Not the Andrew Marr Show to commemorate the resurgent left-wing spirit, vision and politics that have so terrified the Establishment – and are so absent from what’s left of the Labour party, will kick off in Islington, north London, in less than two weeks – timed to coincide with the fortieth anniversary of Jeremy Corbyn’s election as MP for Islington North.

The show will take place on 10 June at Highbury Fields, N5 1RU (nearest tube station Highbury and Islington, just two minutes away) from 2-6pm and will feature music, comedy, a licensed bar and an array of top speakers who will be announced in the next day or two.

The event and its solar-powered stage truck will then tour the country on a series of dates to be confirmed soon. Tickets, which Skwawkbox understands are going fast, can be booked here.

  1. Having listened to a review of Baron Daniel Finkelstein’s new book on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Today’ programme, I realised what Jeremy Corbyn was referring to about some people lacking a sense of irony.

  2. On another matter
    The Trans debate in sport
My daughters a boxer, put a Trans women into the ring and it’s only a matter of time before a biological women gets killed
    But
It’s worse than that because in sport a biological man can identify as a women and compete
This is beyond sick, time to put Jacqueline back in the box

  3. Up until now, I had the impression this was like a big, official, party for Jeremy Corbyn, and that he would definitely be turning up. I see that’s probably not so, but I’m still going. The soul of the Labour party is worth fighting for, at least one last time this summer, before the long winter sets in.

    Too CS Lews/George RR Martin-y?
