Business investor tagged in image

Keir Starmer posted an image today of a meeting showing him with fellow right-winger Rachel Reeves – which Starmer’s tweet described as a ‘fantastic’ meeting with ‘business leaders’.
However, new TUC general secretary Paul Nowak posted a wider-angle image of the meeting, which he said had been a ’roundtable on growth’ – and the image revealed that Nowak and other figures present had been cropped out of the image posted by Starmer. Left activist ‘The Agitator’ pointed out the significance:
The Agitator is quite right: Keir Starmer is interested in crawling up the hind parts of billionaires, not in representing the growing millions suffering poverty and hardship in the UK. Ordinary people are currently without significant representation at a parliamentary level in a system utterly rigged against them in favour of the interests of greedy corporations and the super-rich.

Keir Starmer is a multi millionaire member of the Trilateral Commission founded by and consisting of the mega rich. No surprise therefore that the publicity shots of his “business leaders” meeting don’t show trade unionists but do show billionaires. He has far more in common with millionaires and billionaires than he has with ordinary working people.
…..and yet nobody apart from a few pretend lefties seems to gives a toss. I wonder why🤔
Obviously YOU don’t give a toss.
But then again, you’re not a leftie (pretend or otherwise) are you?
Therefore WTF are you doing on a leftie site, stinking the place out?
You’ve had FAR too many years of trying to convince people of the alleged virtues of centrist/right policies and politicians.
It hasn’t worked. It never will; and yet you gripe about the abuse and trolling you justifiably cop for when you post your unveiled, provocative SHITE, designed for NO other purpose than to solicit the responses you get?
So WHY hang around, unless you’re some sort of retarded masochist?
(Rhetorical)
So, go on – bugger off quickly and don’t come back. 🖕🖕🖕
Toffee – “It hasn’t worked. It never will;”
I’m quite happy with the polls are going, how about you?
“you gripe about the abuse and trolling you justifiably cop for when you post your unveiled, provocative SHITE, designed for NO other purpose than to solicit the responses you get?”
If that really is the case then what does that say about you?
Two Cheeks
14 million tossers voted for JC in 2017
Your man will not get into double figures
Red Tories breeding Apathy and Resentment, off they must fuck
Doug – You really should try to grow up a bit.
I’m confident that Labour will win enough seats to have a substantial majority. Have you seen the opinion and MRP polls? They all put Labour way out in the lead.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_polling_for_the_next_United_Kingdom_general_election#Seat_predictions
A statement based on the erroneous and delusional assumption that the majority of subjects which inhabit these islands are aware of these facts, what they mean, and their implications.
Toffee is spot on. This second rate piss poor tribute act to Orwell’s ‘Squealer’ the pig is well past its sell by date.
Such a one dimensional approach which offers absolutely nothing has long overstayed its welcome. Don’t forget to close the door on the way out and don’t call us.
Dave – ……and the credible alternative that you are offering the electorate is?
A credible alternative involving meaningful and effective structural change based on a reality based paradigm/model and associated assumptions.
Unlike the faux ‘credible alternative’ you are offering which merely offers the same failed, unworkable and dead old wine in a new bottle.
But come on then kid. YOU justify, if you can, just how what you are demanding and insisting others literally die in a ditch for from your safe haven of the Caribbean (allegedly) offers any kind of workable credibility?
Your model is extinct. Dead in the water. The equivalent of the Dodo.
No one is holding their breath here because the one thing we have all learned about you is you don’t answer questions because you cannot do detail. If something does not match your limited mindset and world view you simply don’t, won’t and cannot deal with it.
Dave – Aww come on Dave, are you having a laugh? 🙄
You can attempt to spin it however you like but no amount of fancy waffle will hide the fact that you currently have absolutely SFA to offer the electorate.
And no surprise that behind him, the Prince of Darkness, Peter Mandelson, is another TC member!
Smartboy…..And he has the major Union Leaders sucking his ego whenever he wants. What a guy….
Nowak doesn’t particularly strike me as being of much use anyway. Seems to me to be yet another keef-backing moderate.
But that’s by-the-by. Fact is, Keef’s had a bee firmly ensconced in his bonnet by the rags, and appears ashamed to be seen with union leaders in case they jeer at him for it. Nasty tories ☹️
Probly why he supports them on just about everything and anything instead of leading an opposition.
Slimy turd’d sell his own mother (a former nurse by the way, in case you didn’t already know 😴) to garner a vote.
Toffee – ” Fact is, [Keir’s] had a bee firmly ensconced in his bonnet by the rags, and appears ashamed to be seen with union leaders in case they jeer at him for it. Nasty tories ☹️
Really? I thought you would have been better informed than that. 🤔
If you took your blinkers off once in a while then you would appreciate that your statement of ‘fact’ is just silly made up nonsense.
https://labourlist.org/2022/10/starmer-tells-tuc-congress-i-support-the-right-to-strike-unequivocally/
Blow it outta yer arse, smarmer idolator.
Silly made up nonsense
Says the nonsense case that hasn’t given a single instance of starmer providing and support or showing any sort of solidarity with those arriving to keep their jobs, maintaining their conditions and/or getting a pay increase to match the cost of living.
Well? You were saying something about silly made up nonsense??
What a total blert.
Toffee – Says the nonsense case that hasn’t given a single instance of starmer providing and support or showing any sort of solidarity with those arriving to keep their jobs, maintaining their conditions and/or getting a pay increase to match the cost of living.
Keir is rightly concentrating on doing his job of getting Labour into power (the polls consistently indicate he’s doing a good job) so they can enact their policies including the passing within 100 days their excellent new Employment Rights Bill. A Bill that is strongly supported by the TUC because it will substantially improve the rights and job security of every working person in the country. You really should make the time to read the Green Paper, it is a substantive piece of legislation.

Toffee – “You know the one you’ve been trying to credit keef for over khan’s policy of giving London primary school kids a scran?? “
We both know that you are telling lies again, please feel free to prove otherwise.
“(You’ll find my answer to that a few posts further down that thread. It will show you’ve been am ignorant bellend, as per usual) “
If you check you will see that I have responded to your comment.
“You’re guilty of the exact same shithousery as keef when he tried to steal young Rashford’s acclaim by claiming HE and his party shamed the rags into maintaining the vouchers for school kids.”
As you well know it is a matter of public record that Labour politicians had been consistently challenging the Tories about school meals for some months before. Please feel free to check this out for yourself on Hansard and other sources.
He told members ‘unequivocally’ that he would keep to the 10 pledges that got him elected leader. Then he didn’t once he’d got what he wanted.
He told everyone ‘unequivocally’ that Corbyn had been treated disgracefully. Then couldn’t wait to remove him as a Labour MP when the opportunity arose.
So why should anyone believe that he meant what he said at the TUC Conference when his words can’t be trusted?
Besides, with the treacherous Mandelson pulling the strings hypocrisy is only to be expected.
On the record of broken promises and commitment from this source workers would have a far better chance of a result from a Nigerian Prince.
First it was yet another referral to opinion polls.
From the retard that tells others they should refrain from spoon-feeding others’ opinions.
Then he brings out his big gun of the smarmer miracle weapon, aka the green paper.
As of it was a fucking panacea to all of societal ills.
Well it isn’t. It’s yet another illusive cantrip by the muculent (con)merchant that only you are buying because you’re a completely besotted moron who just won’t listen OR learn.
*Nothing about reversing the ever-increasing inequality gap.
*Nothing about taxing corporations and the grotesquely wealthy, either proportionately or punitively .
*Nothing about bringing any of the already-sold-off-to-the-private-sector back in-house (quite the opposite). *Nothing about helping the poorest in society.
*Nothing about restoring civil liberties – again, quite the opposite.
…But they’ll attempt to make you feel better off. So that’s definitely gonna be a benefit of a smarmer government (god forbid).
And you try to tell us that smarmer policies aren’t toerag in any way because of this fucking green paper
Humans and chimpanzees might look different but 99%+ of the DNA is the same.
And you’re still to explain WHY are you on a leftie website spouting your contumelous bilge, when you’re not a leftie flying in the face of the consensus and perpetually asking who the posters ad nauseam, and infinitum are trying to convince – when you’ve convinced nobody in all your years of posting total and utter horseballs.
And you wonder why you’re ridiculed with each and every post you make; complaining of being trolled?
Beneath contempt
Toffee – Oh dear, are you having anger management issues again.😟
steveH,
A number of relevant questions have been raised here.
Instead of running away by making childish comments why don’t you answer those points with supporting evidence?
If you are incapable then just shut the fuck up because you’ve got nothing to offer
Dave – “A number of relevant questions have been raised here.”
Really, where and relevant to who?😕
*striving.
Oh, and that’s without mentioning – once again – keefs’ abject shithousery over the school meals.
You know the one you’ve been trying to credit keef for over khan’s policy of giving London primary school kids a scran??

Jonathan Cook on the dangerous direction in which Starmer is taking us:
https://www.jonathan-cook.net/2023-02-27/starmer-corbyn-dark-politics/
“Over the past three years, Starmer has been busy setting out his conditions for remaining in the Labour Party tent – parameters that just so happen to mirror precisely the British establishment’s requirements for legitimacy in public life.”
Not simply legitimacy in public life but legitimacy in society per se. An approach by a self selecting credentialed class whose raison detre is to force everyone to live and think in their limiting and reductionist image in the sense that broad citizen conformity to its cultural norms and ‘emergencies’ is not enough. But rather, it is its’ thought-processes that have to be fully reflected in modes of thinking such that every citizen’s acts and thoughts reflect what this credentialed elite consider to be ‘right thinking’.
What Cook identifies here in the Labour Party is not only another example of Cancel Culture in its many forms it is also a mirror to a future under the latest iteration of that credentialed elite’s intentions in ensuring its continuity regardless of changes in administration.
Labour under Starmer has the blessing of that credentialed elite because it has one of its own at the helm. What is being carried out in the Labour Party today will be the norm for British society and the subjects of its self-appointed credentialed elites should this Continuity second eleven take the helm. Disagreeing with, and acting on that disagreement, with the incompetent mardy arses running this shit show will result in the same outcomes as presently taking place in the Labour Party.
Give a donation to the “wrong” crowdfunder, as occurred in Canada last year, or express support for the ‘wrong’ idea (be it Gender Critical; anti-Zionist – even if you are Jewish; the rights of Russian speaking people in Ukraine not to be bombed or subject to genocidal Nazis and so on) will see you effectively outlawed from being able to earn, pay, shop and basically live in what passes for society.
The cultural revolution taking place is operating on multiple levels. With the indoctrination of children even at primary level into a denial of basic biology; whilst at the same time, at international level, so called leaders call to ‘rewrite the mentality; of those who will not bow down to them and cry uncle.
Anyone who votes or supports this, from whatever wing of the Uniparty, will deserve everything that will come to them.
Oh dear 🥱😫😪😴💤
(more than a feeling)
And I begin dreaming
(more than a feeling)
Till I see labour walk away
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-64742599
And what’s keef glorious scheme to deal with it?
Because constant support for the rags or blaming Corbyn OR his miracle green paper just isn’t gonna cut it.
Toffee – You like the rest of us will probably have to wait for Labour’s manifesto before we can answer that.
Toffee – Have you read this❓
https://labourlist.org/2023/02/labour-urges-government-not-to-stand-idly-by-as-rough-sleeping-increases/
Asked specifically whether Labour is considering a system of rent caps or a rent freeze, Barker said she was “not averse to talking about that” but added: “We haven’t had that dialogue yet.”
Again, not a dicky bird about what smarmerite labour intend to DO about it.
People who can, DO.
People who can’t (or rather in this case WON’T, talk about it
Oh….but there’s no manifesto yet, is there?
As if a promise (manifest or other) from those pricks is actually worth a pile of shite.
As if a policy on ending homelessness, or at least reducing it HAS to be kept under wraps as though it’s an election decider before it’s any sort of emergency…
What a prick. Desist from posting links from that mouthpiece site. Especially when it does NOTHING BUT detract your non-existent point. Gobshite.
Toffee – They do say that patience is a virtue, for goodness sake calm down.
It would be politically naive to expect any more at this stage of the election cycle.
Two in three Britons want new political party to take on Tories and Labour
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/labour-tories-starmer-sunak-poll-b2290995.html
Stop dithering Jeremy, we need the Peace and Justice Project (PJP)!
Labour MPs clearly hate and sneer at the left, look how John McDonnell and others in the SCG are having to debase themselves, supporting the hawkish positions on Ukraine, to avoid losing the whip. Doves aren’t allowed in Starmer’s Labour, standing “Shoulder to shoulder” with Brits little more than second-class American citizens, is back in vogue.
Even if PJP doesn’t win, it can drive Labour leftwards, much as UKIP forced the Tories to change their stance.
As Aaron Bastani tweeted:
The story of Unison & the GMB during the Starmer years is giving him everything he asks for and paying cash to have *less* influence than before.
Bad deal!
Gary Smith reminds me of that union boss in Chris Mullin’s “A Very British Coup” similar vibes.
Starmer’s a wrong ‘un, no question, but this is a poor attack line – you couldn’t crop the unused photo to get to the PR shot, they are from obviously different angles and, assuming the PR team felt favourable toward Starmer then one shot showing him smiling, however gormlessly, would be preferred over the blank stare
In World News:
There are reports that Romania have warned Moldova against taking action in Transnistria and that the Moldovan government is now backing off the idea. The conflict in Moldova in the early 1990s was frozen with Transnistria granted a significant degree of autonomy and a UN mandated peace keeping force was stationed in Transnistria. It is still there – a force of around 1500 Russian peacekeepers.
However, guess what, Ukraine has deployed a force to the border. Romania has issued a similar warning, but will Zelensky listen?
Toffee – They do say that patience is a virtue
Says the bellend that NEVER refrains from DEMANDING others answer HIS questions, while never answering anybody else’s.
Those poor sods without a roof over their heads can’t afford to hold such virtues. They need help NOW. Not IF keef decides he’ll do something about it – which he wont.
Sanctimonious twat that you are. .
Toffee – “You know the one you’ve been trying to credit keef for over khan’s policy of giving London primary school
kids a scran?? “
We both know that you are telling lies again, please feel free to prove otherwise.
Certainly.
Khan introduced his policy of giving (London) primary school kids a meal totally independently of keef.
The very same keef what ordered the peers toabstain on the bill that would’ve given schoolkids of ALL ages NATIONWIDE (of parents on UC) a meal.
SteveH28/02/2023 AT 12:15 AM
Toffee – Did you see what happened to The Schools Bill and did you see what happened to the latest attempt to pass a separate School Meals Bill. Is there a reason that given your keen interest in this you haven’t even mentioned the lead that Sadiq Khan has taken on this.
Had fuck all to say when you were shown the proof I’d posted about that very matter re khan over a week previously, did you?
In fact, you made – and continue to make – excuses for keefs’ child harming nonchalance, because you’re a goat molesting, would-be nonsense case who’s been proven to be a lying gobshite time and time again.
Even now you’re trying to accredit keef for khan’s independent decision by association.
Now do one, chupacabra
Toffee – It’s time for you to have a rest Ged, you are getting confused again.
