At least in one country, there is some light but immediate danger is of far-right or military coup
Left-wing candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, better known as Lula, has won in the second round of Brazil’s presidential election and has been confirmed by Brazil’s supreme court as the country’s next president.
The result came despite a lead for right-wing extremist Bolsonaro in the early part of the count – and despite widespread reports of attempts to intimidate and otherwise impede left-wing voters, as former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, a Lula friend and ally, noted:
Congratulations to Brazil and to Lula – but the next danger is the risk of a military coup or right-wing power grab. The defeated Bolsonaro has already begun questioning the accuracy of the count. Shamefully, the BBC and some of its guests have been validating Bolsonaro and regurgitating Lula’s discredited corruption conviction that fell apart last year when Brazil’s Supreme Court ruled it had been an illegal trial and a stitch-up and annulled all its outcomes.

Brazil might be a long way from London but fascism and the support for it is still strong especially in the West and Lula
will have to be on guard and remember that the enemys of the people are strong and in control of the western world .The great Satan is just up the road in Washington dc and nesting in the House of parliament under the disguise of the labour party

I hope Bolsanaro using the Trump/Bannerman playbook of the ‘stolen election’ comes to nothing. But I fear too about the military and the damage Bolsanaro can achieve before 1 January. #VivaLula

One of Lula’s major, and most ambitious, plans, is to introduce a separate currency for Brazil, and – eventually – for South America, called the Sur.
Bolivia, Chile, Colombia and, even, the parlous state of Argentina have expressed interest, in the proposal.
It would reduce South America’s dependency on the U$ Dollar. A move the US would not be keen to see, so, expect a recruiting drive by Langley.
I haven’t looked to see what happened in the apartheid state of Israel’s GE, yesterday, yet, but expect interference from them, as well. The fascists of Brazil and Israel are good pals, and won’t be averse to helping each other out – in any way they can.
Mrs Bolsonaro rocked up to the polls, yesterday, sporting a T-shirt with the Israeli flag emblazoned across her breasts.
For now, we can only hope Lula will wake up, each morning – fit and well – for many years to come.
I wait with bated breath, to see if Sir Keir Rodney Starmer – leader of the UK Labour Party(nominally) – sends his congratulations, and fraternal greetings, to the people of Brazil and their new President, Lula.

This would be an exact re-run of the Trump ‘voter fraud’ script.
“The greatest election fraud ever seen” will be followed ,before the victor’s inauguration, by a mass rally of hard-right Bolsonaristas storming Brazil’s equivalent of the Capitol to show they do not accept the result and are intent on its overturn.
(Perhaps the WEF/Trilateral Commission will instruct Sir Keir to advise Bolsonaro to petition hard for a second vote., ‘a people’s referendum’ – after all it worked very well against For the Many Labour’s Jeremy Corbyn in 2019 ).
