Verified Kyiv newspaper account says in now-deleted tweet that prisoners will be executed in revenge for shelling of civilians
Ukrainian special forces have adopted a policy of executing captured Russian soldiers, according to a tweet by the verified account of the Kyiv Independent, a Ukrainian newspaper. The tweet, which was deleted about an hour after it was posted, said that this would be in revenge for the bombing of Ukrainian cities and their residents:

Executing captured troops is a war crime – but has now been announced as the default policy of at least part of the Ukrainian military.
So far, the UK ‘mainstream’ media does not appear to have covered the announcement.
