Nickersen turns Corbyn defender and tells other right-wingers not to share defamatory image

‘Mr Corbyn’s lawyers are NOT messing around’ Stop and think!’

Tory councillor Paul Nickersen has gone in just a few days from defaming former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn to telling others not to do so, after Corbyn’s lawyers extracted damages and a ‘please retweet’ apology.

Nickersen has tweeted telling others sharing the doctored picture of Corbyn laying a wreath that they are being foolish if they think it won’t backfire on them and that ‘Mr Corbyn’s lawyers are NOT messing around’:

The role-reversal tweet will no doubt cause considerable amusement in the Corbyn camp, but whether the kind of right-winger who wants to share a tweet that has already cost a Tory ‘substantial’ damages and public humiliation have enough brain cells to heed Nickersen’s warning is a difficult one to judge.
