Leading medic says Happy Birthday NHS – and warns that the government is intentionally destroying it (video)

And give staff a proper pay rise, claps and tokens won’t do, says Dr Kailash Chand

Leading medic and health campaigner Dr Kailash Chand has recorded a video to honour the 73rd birthday of the NHS – and to warn that the Tories are, quite intentionally, destroying it to benefit their privateer friends and backers:

Chand also condemned the Tories’ derisory pay offers to the public sector, after years of real-terms cuts.

His warning – and his call for the public to wake up and rise up to protect it – are echoed by NHS staff and health campaigners around England.

  1. It has been obvious to anyone paying the remotest attention that the NHS has been on it’s way out for decades.

The Tories have fought it from its inception and many others have sold their souls for a few quid to help it pass away.

I’d say it died about 10-15 years ago. Many private companies operate under the NHS logo. The NHS’s buying power was stripped by forcing them into trusts (NHS is (probably more like was) the 5th largest employer in the world).

If you clapped last summer, you’re part of the problem!

    1. The problem is how many will say on Social Media “The NHS is crap anyway, best get rid of it!” etc, but they are Zombified MSM Sheeple, who forgot all about their most recent medical intervention from the NHS or how Nana was saved etc, etc, etc!
Of Course The NHS has become “Crap” as The Neolabour Party Tories and The Conservative Party Tories sucked it dry with their Neoliberalism! Just as The Neolabour Party Tories sucked The UK Labour Party Dry and spat the dead skin out! It is “Crap” because it is dead!
Those people also don’t understand that Medical insurance works exactly like any other insurance. A nice man is not going to come to your rescue and give you a couple of Million to save your daughter’s life, because your cheaper insurance doesn’t cover x,y or z, no she dies, with the best your insurance can do to ease her suffering/pain and make her comfortable!
Then again I have learnt especially 2015 to 2020, that Humans like to run full speed and splat their heads against a brick wall, complain about the pain while they continue to do it repeatedly.

      1. Exactly, that is so close to ensuring your family, you’d also go to U-switch, etc to look for the best deals and in all the small print will be the condition/s you need to save a life but it’s not covered for whatever maddening reason. I had a look at Blood tests on UK Private first you pay the GP appointment ~£89.00 then you go for your Blood test Appointment another £89.00 Tests are priced by the Lab Prices and range from £69.00 to £2000.00 for a single test! How many times has our GPs tested for 2/3+ conditions with the same/similar symptoms, imagine if they are not covered and in the upper £ amounts! Then there are drugs People have to choose between heart medication and pain relief, in the USA if they can’t afford both. Then again as the saying goes ‘You don’t know what you’ve got until its lost!’ AND lose it we will! Vote Neolabour Party Tories LOSE IT! Vote Conservative Party Tories LOSE IT! Just like Labour The NHS is DEAD no matter how we try to fight for it. Unless we have a bloody revolutions and give The Power to The People, and really who the hell wants that but desperation is creeping in fast and spreading like wild fire, it might become an urgency. There are revolutionary talk in France again. I think Britain has it’s head too deep up Amazon looking for the latest must have shite, that they are conditioned to desire, by the very Neoliberal that are robbing them of life! They soon wake up when they thud the bottom with the rest of us, right on the edge of life.

      2. You are right we DESPERATELY need a Labour Government NOT a NEOLABOUR PARTY TORY Government! Are you Alive!? It was the Neolabour Party Tories who escalated the destruction of The NHS, it was the Neolabour Party Tories continued with Thatcher’s Privatisation! They are Neoliberals, Privatisation is what Neoliberals DO BEST!
To be Quite Frank, I do not give a FUCK what ANY Neolabour Party TORY MP has to say, much less Apartheid Keith! With a “TRUTH” Record like 👇THIS👇neither should you or anyone else!
Anyway I am sure The Inbred or Hancock said something similar, do you believe them also!?
        https://flask.io/MYBxyJV4WJxw

      3. lundiel – Do you have a problem with basic comprehension?
bring public services back in public hands for the benefit of all of us.

      4. It is worrying how many of those International Neoliberal Monopolies are equally shit in every country they invade and colonise! Humanity is getting to be “led” by Buffoons!

      5. Centrist dad. Reeves hasn’t presented any policies, only vague goals that she admits “will take time” and given “every policy will be fully costed” and “there is no magic money tree” and she informs us that we borrowed money to pay for the pandemic which must be paid back, she’s going to have problems funding anything. The buy British campaign is nonsense as well. She can do stuff like informing councils and the NHS to include tenders from British firms but she can’t order them to buy British because that would breach WTO competition rules. So it’s largely nice sounding waffle which won’t result in (for instance) a British company making trains for HS2, but will result in British companies getting contracts for stuff like biros for the NHS.
With regard to renationalisation, I will be very happy if Ms Reeves, a Blairite, ever follows Jeremy Corbyn’s policies on returning utilities to public ownership….it will be an economic awakening for an avowed neoliberal.

      6. So we have Reeves, ‘going to be tougher than the Tories on Benefit Claimants and completely discrediting the sick and disabled killed under the Tory Policies’ and Apartheid Keith and his destroyed 10 Promises, his Julian Assange legacy to name just one and these Zombified MSM Sheeple want us to believe/take their word! JFC! I think sometimes we are talking different species!

      7. SteveH, do you believe everything that Starmer says in relation to the NHS?

      8. SteveH, So if Starmer supports a fully publicly funded NHS do you think it makes sense for him to hire a lobbyist for private healthcare?

      9. SteveH, We all know that Starmer has no hope of getting support from the left therefore he was always going to appeal to the right. To do that he knows there is no better way than to assist the right with their obsession to hive of parts of the NHS. Be prepared to see him offer little if any resistance to further privatisation.

      10. Jack – Well given that Corbyn has bequeathed the Tories an 80 seat majority there is a limit to what anyone can do. All the more reason to vote Labour at the next GE and not give the Tories the chance to sell it off.

      11. SteveH your body swerve is noted, plus the attempt to blame Corbyn for Starmer’s future actions, when Starmer was one of those who helped to knife Corbyn.

      12. Jack – It wasn’t Starmer’s fault that Corbyn got it wrong.

      13. SteveH, no but neither was it Corbyn’s fault that Starmer and the rest of the right wing never had any intention to support him and neither was it his fault they joined in the dirty tricks against him to make sure he and a left wing Labour Party were never elected. You know the whole story just as well as anyone so there is no need for me to reiterate it again.

      14. SteveH so now you’ve had to fall back on the age old and discreditable defence of ‘blame the victim’

  2. Most people will probably think because the queen’s given the George cross to the NHS, it’s safe. Nothing could be further from the truth. And Starmer should be standing against outsourcing, privatisation and the health and care bill. Covid should be a warning to everyone that the NHS is currently being dismantled and outsourced.

    1. The health and care bill is not a ‘bad’ bill it will hopefully rid us of the worst of Lansley’s reforms and the awful CCGs which have led to millions of Londoner’s care being purchased for them by American subsidiary companies. And the bill does include plans to reduce some privatisation by removing the duty on the NHS to put care contracts out to tender. “However, the British Medical Association, the doctors’ union, warned that it could lead to the new integrated care systems (ICSes) offering large contracts to private firms without any tendering process, in a repeat of the “Tory cronies” scandal, involving billions of pounds of deals for personal protective equipment (PPE) for NHS staff, seen during the Covid pandemic.”

      1. Re; outsourcing. Servo have won a test and trace contract worth £322 million and a new contract to get people currently unemployed back to work worth £350 million

      2. There were demonstrations across the country in support of the NHS and against privatisation on Saturday. Did you see any coverage in the media?

      3. PS. The Labour party have announced a fantastic new policy: ‘Buy British’. Serco is a British firm

    2. But…but…but .. lovely prince willis went to the special NHS service earlier?!

It’s GOT to be safe if HE took time out of his hectic schedule to go…He’s the people’s prince y’know?! He knows exactly what FREE healthcare is all about…

  3. Below is an extract from Keir Starmer’s speech to the GMB Digital Congress 2021 at the begining of June. Note the emphasis on insourcing.

After everything the British people have been through in the last year. We can’t go back to businesses as usual. Back to where we started. And we can’t continue the slide toward a low-rights and low-pay economy. As we recover from this pandemic, we have to build a more secure economy to rebuild the foundations after a decade of neglect. And to get Britain ready for the challenges and opportunities of the future. That’s the central task of the Labour Party I lead. Not to tinker around the edges.

But to transform the country – and our economy – so it works for working people. So that everyone can earn a wage they can bring a family up on. So that we can support British manufacturing and bring good quality jobs back to Britain. So we can lead the world in energy – with the infrastructure and jobs of the future created here, not just overseas. And – as our new Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves has set out – so we can deliver the biggest wave of insourcing in a generation. And bring public services back in public hands for the benefit of all of us.
    https://labourlist.org/2021/06/starmers-gmb-speech-on-gary-smith-uber-deal-mclibel-fire-and-rehire/

    1. What a load of shit. Like we’ll all be taken in by his patriotic bullshit. We want economic policy not woolly patriotic statements, promises about infrastructure projects, state borrowing and wealth taxes. After a year and 2 shadow chancellors all we have is Rachel Blair babe Reeves who believes there isn’t a magic money tree (for poor people), that spending follows taxation and low taxes are popular. Serco is a British outsourcing company….. it’s therefore patriotic to support and secure contracts for Serco.
Please don’t respond, I’m not going to encourage your madness.

      1. Why would I wish to waste my time responding to a load of bollocks from someone who has difficulty understanding basic English and only represents a small faction.

      2. …Why would I wish to waste my time responding to a load of bollocks from someone who has difficulty understanding basic English and only represents a small faction…

        So why bother replying?!

      3. SteveH05/07/2021 AT 4:15 PM
NVLA – I also recall someone repeatedly promising to democratise the party, how did that work out

And the rest of us recall TEN promises stammer made…How did THEY work out?

Didn’t take long to renege on each and every one of them, did it, bollocks?

      4. Toffee – In your opinion but we all know what that is worth don’t we Tory Boy.

      5. Hahaha… You’ve been sussed again so you resort to your Tory boy pretend insult.

Forgot how MY.opinion and the millions like me fooked de facto stammerite labour right off in 2019 after YOUR opinion was steamrollered through without you even getting a say (Who’s opinion didn’t matter THEN, Mr Democratic-OMOV? Hahaha).

So you see, div, my opinion DID AND DOES matter.

And STILL you REFUSE to name ONE DIFFERENCE between stammerism and conservatism…

Because the only difference is that stammerite labour is a dirty fucking nonce hiding in plain sight, whereas at least conservatism has its nonsenseism stamped through it like a stick of rock

And Keith’s already drybummed you and your brexit, hasn’t he?

But you must love it, you sicko.

      6. Toffee – …..but you’re the self confessed Tory Boy who voted for a Tory Brexit.

    2. Talk is cheap.

Blair said he’d renationalise the railways. How did that pan out?

Having trouble remembering who said about something involving ten pledges…Anyone with a better memory here?

      1. NVLA – I also recall someone repeatedly promising to democratise the party, how did that work out?

      2. I know you’re not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but Corbyn is no longer the leader. That makes your point irrelevant.

      3. NVLA – Says the guy who is still wittering on about Blair, how relevant does that make you?

    3. Below is an extract from Keir Starmer’s speech to the GMB Digital Congress 2021 at the begining of June….

Ermmm… Aren’t the GMB making noises about withdrawing funding and it’s affiliation to stammerite labour? 🤔

Yes. Yes they are – aren’t they, wee man?

      https://skwawkbox.org/2021/07/01/another-union-may-end-funding-and-affiliation-to-labour-not-value-for-money/

Obviously Keith’s *ahem* heartfelt pleas (piss-poor, to be reneged on AGAIN promises more like) have fell on stony ground, eh, wee fella?

      1. Toffee – Come back and tell me all about it after they’ve had their review Tory Boy.

      2. Again with the ‘we must wait and see’ evasive and delaying tactic we’re all to familiar with.

Well nevermind any ‘review’ , soft shite.

The noises are being made. All is not well in the state of stammerism…

      3. It looks to me like the real problem is with the GMB’s finances. Their membership is down and they are skint.

    4. SteveH
For the love of God study the form, Temporary Embarrassment is beginning to make Baby Trump blush, the man is a fraud
      Or
Tell us which policies he will honour from leadership contest

      1. Doug – That will be for the party’s policy review and conference to decide.

      2. You lowlife shithouse… You were quick and eager enough to jump on stammers shithouse second ref when he was angling for Corbyns leadership.

And you didn’t get to decide, neither.

      3. SteveH05/07/2021 AT 8:52 PM
Toffee – As did the vast majority of the Labour party

And yet YOU – Mister ‘One Member, One Vote’ had NO PROBLEM with the result…despite the rank & file -including yourself – NOT having their say.

        See the problem there, retard?

      4. Toffee – Such is the Labour party’s democracy, it is disappointing that Corbyn, despite his promises, didn’t even attempt to fix that.

      5. But it’s NOT ‘disappointing’ that stammer has ‘democratised the oarty’ by expelling a dissident voice about Palestine.

Or has gone every bit as far with a witch hunt with trumped-up charges of antisemitism against rank & file members who’s ‘guilt’ lies in the fact that they happen to have left wing tendencies.

Or sacking an MP for going against a one-time whip to abstain.

Or suspending CLPs for daring to hold NC votes in his ‘leadership’ (how many NCVs did Corbyn get?)

Or has imposed candidates of his own choice despite some candidates not even meeting eligibility criteria.

Who refuses to state who funds him

Who refuses to release a report known to be critical of the actions he committed and that brought down his predecessor AND did so knowing FULL WELL it’d cost the party in the subsequent general election?

Nope. All above board, them things. All corbyn’s fault despite stammer having 16 months to have implemented any discernable changes

Not even a token attempt to fix those things himself; rather a propensity to continue with, andpress on further with the rules you blame Corbyn for not changing/implementing.

No.Not a peep about stammers continued and wilful reticence to bring about the ‘democracy’ that normal people are familiar with.

But then again, neither polygonal head, nor you, can be described as ‘normal’. Not unless you add the prefix ‘ab’

You still think 52 is less than 48. That 17.4 is LESS than 16.1.

That rigging of delegations is fine if they are in your favour and deny you the vote you squealed loudest and longest about.

Gobshite. You haven’t the first fucking idea about democracy, as continually proved.

      6. The Toffee (597) 06/07/2021 at 2:02 am

“But it’s NOT ‘disappointing’ that stammer has ‘democratised the oarty’ by expelling a dissident voice about Palestine.”
I have no idea what you are on about, do you?

“Or has gone every bit as far with a witch hunt with trumped-up charges of antisemitism against rank & file members who’s ‘guilt’ lies in the fact that they happen to have left wing tendencies.”
The NEC is responsible for discipline, not the leader. Personally I think that they should have suspended any further proceedings until the discredited system that was put in place by Jennie Formby had been replaced,

“Or sacking an MP for going against a one-time whip to abstain.”
They were all warned what the consequences would be before the vote, they sacked themselves.

“Or suspending CLPs for daring to hold NC votes in his ‘leadership’ (how many NCVs did Corbyn get?)”
Corbyn got the biggest and most decisive NCV for decades in the 19GE.

“Or has imposed candidates of his own choice despite some candidates not even meeting eligibility criteria.”
Kim Leadbeater wasn’t imposed, she was democratically elected by Batley and Spen CLP. Kim got 80% of the vote As for her eligibility well that was agreed by the NEC so the rules were adhered to.

“Who refuses to state who funds him”
You tell me, will you be providing some credible evidence to support your ‘assertions’.

“Who refuses to release a report known to be critical of the actions he committed and that brought down his predecessor AND did so knowing FULL WELL it’d cost the party in the subsequent general election?”
Like you I don’t know what is in the report. I agree that the report should be published. Maybe the reason is that it may paint some Unions in a bad light.

“Nope. All above board, them things. All corbyn’s fault despite stammer having 16 months to have implemented any discernable changes”
It’s not just that Corbyn didn’t do bugger all in nearly 5yrs but he actively went behind the members backs to thwart it

“Not even a token attempt to fix those things himself; rather a propensity to continue with, and press on further with the rules you blame Corbyn for not changing/implementing.”
He has made a small but significant step to democratise the party that has proved to be very effective. He replaced the FPTP voting system for NEC members with STV

“No.Not a peep about stammers continued and wilful reticence to bring about the ‘democracy’ that normal people are familiar with.”
        What would you know?

“You still think 52 is less than 48. That 17.4 is LESS than 16.1.”
Things that you keep accusing all and sundry of but you already know that I have never made either of those statements. Telling lies doesn’t do much for your credibility (if you ever had any)
You are welcome to try and prove otherwise.

“That rigging of delegations is fine if they are in your favour and deny you the vote you squealed loudest and longest about.”
Do you have any credible evidence to support your ‘assertions’?

“Gobshite. You haven’t the first fucking idea about democracy, as continually proved.”
.…the disturbing thing is that you think you do.

  4. It’s never been more obvious what the Tory game being played with the NHS is designed to do.

Get rid of staff with crap pay, make sure just not enough money gets to trusts so they always have to cut back and sell it off to the sodding yanks and they get nice jobs out of the deal.

What is more staggering is the stupidity of the public if they opened their eyes and looked at how year on year the NHS is going downhill and what party is always in charge when this happens.

Maybe stopping voting for the Torys? Now there’s a clue!

      1. As reported on MedScape the initial findings of the People’s Covid Inquiry were released today.

        People’s COVID Inquiry
The People’s COVID Inquiry, chaired by Michael Mansfield QC, issued its preliminary findings into the Government’s pandemic response today.
The unofficial inquiry was set up by campaign group Keep Our NHS Public, and has heard from expert witnesses, including Dr David Wrigley from the BMA, and Professor Sir Michael Marmot, director, UCL Institute of Health Equity.
“The Government ignored the pandemic to begin with, ignored the recommendations from Exercise Cygnus, repeatedly ignored the science, had decimated public services, then ignored the cries of those working in the NHS, in social care, and in other crucial services, and as we have heard, ignored the offers of procurement from those working inside the NHS for PPE,” the Inquiry said.
The Prime Minister has said the official pandemic inquiry will be launched next Spring.

Here’s a link to the full report.

    1. Pure Blair/Thatcher Tory Neoliberalism, and both are equally damaging and destructive, It’s over, UK Labour Party is dead! The NHS is dead! The Neolabour Party Tories and Conservative Party Tories Killed It! The only thing to save both/either is by destroying the Parasite Party The Neolabour Tories, that means 5 more years suffering of The Inbred, however with good organisation, reshuffling and ball busting, hard working candidates & CLPs for every seat, working for, with and in the community, we could walk it the following GE. Other than that all I can see is Suffering and Misery for the unforeseeable future whether The Neolabour Party Tories or The Conservative Party Tories gets in. I have a feeling though that “Labour” will be a complete gonner GE24.

      1. skellyknelly – The sad fact is, you don’t have the numbers.

    2. Grandad, you’re not allowed to call the public stupid. Even though enough of them were stupid enough to vote in a degenerate such as Bozo the dangerous clown.

  5. >>Why would I wish to waste my time responding to a load of bollocks from someone who has difficulty understanding basic English and only represents a small faction.

Oh like your paymaster Starmer and your BS you peddle here daily. You think we want or need to hear your guff get real. No one but a cult member like yourself is ever going to believe in him and his cronies and will soon go the way of the dodo as voters stop blindly voting for a empty party trying to hide behind a rosette.

  6. Another thread where wee stevie extols stammer, criticises a long-gone Corbyn for things neither he, nor stammer have done, and gets his arse pulled over his lugholes.

    …Again.

And still he’ll plod on with his utter crap:

But I voted Corbyn TWICE (You didn’t vote him once Toffee, ner-ner-nee-ner-ner) , and I only voted stammer cos he was best of a bad bunch, honest!’

And he claims neither he, nor stammer are full of shit?!

    Pffft!

      1. Fair enough, wee stevie.

I guess Keith doesnt need all that lubricant smeared copiously over his barnet to stretch your hoop after all, does he?

        Stammer-obsessed weirdo that y’are. 😕

      2. Toffee – Yet another uncouth rant. You’re the one with the obsession, I’ve simply reported what Keir has said,

      3. I’ve simply reported what Keir has said,

As well as repeatedly blaming Corbyn for not democratising the party even though he’s I not even part of it.

And when you’re not blaming Corbyn for that, it’s something else Keith hasn’t done…like keep a fucking pledge, or oppose the toerags.

Name ONE difference between stammerism and conservatism before you can even consider yourself qualified to answer anybody or proffer your worthless opinions, div.

      4. Toffee – 🥱 As I said above I have simply reported the facts, Whether you choose to indulge yourself with yet another moronic rant about what Keir has said is entirely your choice. 🥱

      5. Toffee – 🥱 As I said above I have simply reported the facts,

I think you’ll find the only one resorting to facts is meself.

The main FACT I’ll bring to people’s attention being the one that you persistently refuse to offer your opinion on any perceived difference between stammerism and conservatism.

        And we all know why.

Oh and I didn’t mention a dicky bird about what Keith said; I said that it appears the GMB aren’t happy with his worthless promises.

        Alright?

      6. Toffee – It isn’t my fault that you are too dumb to see the contradiction in what you’ve just said.

      7. And WGAF about what he says?

        Nobody.

Why? Because it always ends up being the exact opposite of what he does

And if I’m wrong, then you can tell us all just which single one of his ten pledges the greasy prick HASNT abandoned?

        Hmmm?

…You were saying? Oh forget it. Even less people give a fuck about the shite YOU spout, nevermind what the object of your unhealthy obsession blows out of his arse.

      8. Toffee – Really? …and yet here you are again giving us your opinion. You’re a joke Tory Boy.

      9. Toffee – It isn’t my fault

Oh wow… I only need the: ‘you are, of course, entitled to your opinion’ for a full card on the one thread.!!

But then again, my opinion isn’t worth anything, is it, wee fella?

So someone else will have to easily coax that one out of ya…

      10. Amazing.
“I’ve simply reported what Keir has said,”

        Has become:

“As I said above I have simply reported the facts”

      11. lundiel – What are you prattling on about, it’s a matter of record what Keir said to the GMB.

      12. Toffee – Really? …and yet here you are again giving us your opinion. You’re a joke Tory Boy.

        Sort of …

Although in the real world, I’m just not letting a gobshite like you have your abnormal last word fetish fulfilled.

Not until you’ve told us either the difference between stammer and the.toerqgs, or a pledge stammer hasn’t ditched.

      13. Toffee – I simply don’t care one way or t’other what you think of me Tory Boy.

      14. Perhaps not ..

…Not enough that you have to keep trying to have the last word – Even when the futility of your bullshit has dawned on you, at least.

        (I don’t care…harrumph!! )

We know what you mean, little man. 😉

Right then,… I’ve only got 6% battery, so I’ll leave it for the night shift to keep you gnawing at your furniture, wee fella

        Nighty night.

  7. buy british, backing britain, stand by the flag… all the toys have been thrown out of the pram and staying there(wiederholungszwang).

  8. Interesting article https://www.opendemocracy.net/en/opendemocracyuk/it-was-centrist-dads-who-lost-it/ that shows it was ‘centrist dads’ (middle-class, educated, centrist-leaning voters who could not be persuaded to accept a compromise on Brexit in order to prevent a Johnson landslide) who lost the 2019 election for Labour rather than aging socially conservative boomers.
“all evidence also suggests that the Labour vote held up among working-age people in almost all of the lost constituencies. The real question for Labour is how to reach poor working-age voters in those places, who still do not turn out to vote in large enough numbers to ensure Labour victories in those places. The anecdotal evidence is overwhelming. The level of demoralisation and despondency in such places makes it impossible to convince people that Labour, or anyone else, can help them. The institutions that used to convince people of that possibility – democratic local government, a robust labour movement, and (a long time ago) relatively Labour-friendly media – have all been defeated, downtrodden and weakened since the 1970s.”
New Labour hasn’t got a chance.

      1. The working class made their opinion of Corbyn’s leadership clear at the 19GE.

      2. You keep banging on about “”the working class” made their opinion of Corbyn’s leadership clear at the 19GE”, but you could not be more wrong, SOME of “The Working Class” were gullible and stupid enough to be lead down a rosy path by Their Puppet Master Rupert Murdoch and Galloway & Co’s “Vote Leave” and the others by The Sun in Lambskin – The Guardian and Blair, Campbell, Mandelson’s screeching over 2nd Ref, when they already had a Confirmatory Vote written into Labour’s Brexit Policy! So don’t insult all “The Working Class” for a bunch of under-evolved boneheads’ cock-up! It was not only “The Working Class” who voted!
I am sure if you asked most of them, they would admit to losing that particular Battle and not Winning anything, but many more years of Neolabour/Conservative Party Tory Hell! Especially “The Red Wall” They pretty much fucked themselves through their ears!

      3. skellyknelly …..and yet significantly more of them voted for the Tories than voted Labour whilst more of the middle class voted Labour than there working class did,

      4. Read the article bozo, it’s backed by stats.
“The most plausible and obvious explanation is that these are centrist-leaning voters, whose 20s and 30s were spent in the halcyon days of New Labour, who were the very last cohort to benefit from the long property bubble, whose children are not yet old enough for the full implications of the resultant housing crisis to have dawned on them. Heavily pro-Remain and heavily influenced by mainstream legacy media (the BBC, the Guardian), they backed Corbyn when a Labour-negotiated soft Brexit seemed like the best possible outcome to the 2016 referendum. But by 2019, their patience with Labour’s need to appease its minority of Northern Leaver voters had driven many of them back into the arms of parties who they felt represented their own views unambiguously.”

    1. This is on the same vein, it is like all the “Left Wing” grew up and became Tories! Mick Hucknall at Taki’s House celebrating the 190th Anniversary of the spectator! Tracy Emin, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards etc celebrating The Inbred Buffoon’s GE19 Victory!
It is a sad state of affairs, they made their money attacking the Establishment and “Being Left Wing” taking the struggling people’s grateful money, only to shit on them at the Poll Station a couple of decades later!
The Tory Greed set in, BUT they like to hang on to the “Left Wing” Image and Speak for their deluded, non the wiser fans and of course the Dinner Parties, Soirees and Gallery openings “Darling!”!
Welcome to Great White Fake Britain!
With it’s TWO Great White Tory Parties!

  9. The working class made their opinion of Corbyn’s leadership clear at the 19GE.

    Wrong.

They made their Corbyn opinion clear in 2017.

In ’19 they made their opinion of stammers shithousery just as clear.

And again a few weeks back in Hartlepool.

But we know what you think of that opinion….While trying to get us to take part in your delusion that stammer’s got them fighting each other to sign up.

    1. Toffee – You are of course entitled to your opinion, but does anyone care.

  10. £15b of NHS services are already provided by the private sector in a process started by Right Wing Labour and continued by the Tory/Lib Dem Coalition & now the Tories. Their new reforms will put more services up to tender and guess who will win the contracts – the private sector who adhere to the Neo-Liberal Tory mantra of CHEAP LABOUR for staff as a way to make more profit.
    The Tory salami approach.
Need to fight for the NHS, kick the private sector out, 15% pay rise NHS staff, a National Care Service which is Free & decent pay for staff. And make the rich and big business exploiters pay!

    1. Bazza – …but first and foremost we need a Labour government, otherwise the Tories will be able to do whatever they want.

      1. Yes, we need a Labour Government!
NOT a Neolabour Parasite Party Tory Government!
What is the point in voting for an even nastier Tory Government!?
Neolabour Party Tories Killed Labour, in doing so killed themselves!

      2. skellyknelly – ….firstly you won’t be surprised that I don’t agree with you, Your small minority faction will be nothing more than a joke until you have you managed to find a credible leader. Maybe Karie Murphy can help you out 🤔.

      3. Well what can I say, you are so very mainstream, so very, very mainstream that your MSM Sheeple “majority” “voted for” another Tory Government, when we had a CHOICE, the one CHOICE in 42 years and the LAST CHOICE we will ever have again. And you vigorously continue to support The MSM Sheeple, even though apparently you voted sensibly!
I can’t help but wonder how many of your Sheeple “Majority” would do the same if they could turn back time? I wonder how many of your Sheeple “Majority” are going to be prepared to Vote Tory again! Especially The Parasite Neolabour Party Tories who killed their only hope for Lasting Positive Change and a UK Labour Party, which is dead and gone, killed by The Neolabour Party Tories! You may strike it lucky for the sheer desperation of the people who fucked up GE19 and with the Neoliberal Neolabour Tory Mantra “Any Labour Government is better than a Tory Government”, which would ring true if there was a Labour Government, how could there be a Labour Government when The Parasite Neolabour Party Tories sucked the only ‘Labour’ there ever was dry!
Just as they will suck the pockets of the poor dry,
Just as they will suck the NHS dry,
Just as they will completely destroy the Sick and Disabled, etc,
because they are TORIES and that is what Neoliberals do take from the poor give to the rich!
Your “Majority” MSM Sheeple would have to be pretty much Zombified to sign up for that! To be fair, they probably will, it’s not me and my “minority” who will suffer, we’re quite prepared and quite used to the suffering under Tory Governments, we’ve done it for 42 years! It will be you and your MSM Sheeple who will suffer, when they expect a “Labour” Government and get a Tory Government far worse than the Inbred Buffoon’s Tory Government.
At least the Rivers of Tears when reality dawns, will be as entertaining as when the Rivers of Tears of GE19 dawned on the MSM Sheeple!

      4. Bazza – …but first and foremost we need a Labour government, otherwise/s> so the Tories will be able to do whatever they want.

        Fixed.

(A stammerite labour Govt will be no less than: ‘Meet the new boss, astonishingly, he’s even worse than the old boss)

      5. Toffee – Have you managed to come up with a credible replacement yet?

      6. Toffee – Oh dear, your strike-through sort of didn’t work out too well.

      7. Bastard! Was meant to read:

Bazza – …but first and foremost we need a Labour government, otherwise so the Tories will be able to do whatever they want

        Fixed now

  11. Oh and a Publicly owned Pharma which will source drugs for minor serious conditions where there is not enough profit for the capitalists but is a human need. Will also save the NHS billions. This Corbyn policy will no doubt be ditched by Right Wing Starmer?

  12. SteveH05/07/2021 AT 9:32 PM
Toffee – You go and run off to your bed then.

    SteveH05/07/2021 AT 9:34 PM
Toffee – SFW, I thought you were running away to your bed.

Further proof of your insistence of (trying – and failing at that, too) getting the final word in.

The only time you don’t is when it dawns on you that you’ve painted yourself into a corner, and you scuttle off back under your binlid; not making further comment until either the thread becomes too old that nobody visits it, or you have some totally irrelevant shite to post in the desperate attempt to change the subject.

But most of the time you’re too fucking imbecilic to realise you’re heads been rammed up your arse so far that you can’t find the light switch.

…And now I’ve finished, so I’ll attempt go back to sleep, now things seem to have settled here, for the night.

  13. You’re about as funny as you are erudite.

    Night night, gobshite.

  14. StveH06/07/2021 AT 2:25 AM
Toffee – Have you managed to come up with a credible replacement yet?

You managed to find a pledge stammer hasn’t ditched yet?

Managed to convince anyone that stammerism isn’t conservatism yet?

    No?

    Come back when you do.

  15. What, no last word, wee man?

Or is it just that you have NO credible answer?

Methinks it’s the latter…But you’ll come back for the former.
