When Dominic Grieve’s amendment to the government’s ‘Business of the House’ motion passed last week, the SKWAWKBOX advised its readers that the amendment was not binding on the government and May would come back with any revisions for a new vote when she chose – not within three days as the amendment demanded.
The mainstream media, from the BBC News channel through the televised politics programmes to the press, told their viewers and readers that May was forced by the amendment to come back within the three days.
Today, Tory front-bencher Andrea Leadsom told MPs the new debate and vote will be 29 January – two weeks from Tuesday’s vote.
Unsurprisingly, none of the media reporting the schedule as if it was entirely expected all along appear to have mentioned their error.

So going against oted through rules again….. by not teturning in 3 days but aftet 13 days……. disgusting behaviour.

And was there any criticism of her for yet again ‘running down the clock’, and her complete contempt for parliament? Yet again! I doubt it somehow.
