Labour 2018 rulebook

lab rule 2018.png

As Labour’s rulebook is behind a log-in on the party’s ‘Membersnet’ page and can be difficult to find – sometimes returning a ‘not found’ page even after you find it – the SKWAWKBOX is again making a copy of the latest rules available as a PDF on its website.

It’s essential that Labour members familiarise themselves with the rules in order to avoid being outflanked by the party’s right-wing minority, which has a track record for exploiting (and sometimes bending/breaking/inventing) rules for its own ends.

The 2018 rulebook can be downloaded here.

Please share, so the easy availability of this important resource for members is widely known.

The SKWAWKBOX needs your support. This blog is provided free of charge but depends on the generosity of its readers to be viable. If you can afford to, please click here to arrange a one-off or modest monthly donation via PayPal. Thanks for your solidarity so this blog can keep bringing you information the Establishment would prefer you not to know about.

  1. Why is this the case though? the NEC need to address this with McNicol and make it readily available on the Labour Party website as transparency is key going forward.

  2. “Been a while since I studied anything much though”
If the RuleBook needs studying to make head or tail of it, it has failed in its purpose – or maybe it hasn’t?
