Video: Hunt to announce hospital closures – and runs away from questions

Jeremy Hunt, the worst Health Secretary in history, has been derided in the independent news today after a Bristol hospital trust had to delete all trace of his visit when staff erupted in outrage at the smug nonsense he spouted for a vomit-inducing ‘photo-opportunity’.

But the damage he is doing to the NHS is all too serious, as campaigners for Epsom and St Helier hospitals in south-west London know – the announcement of the closure of all acute services at both hospitals is thought to be imminent, affecting a million people or more on a ‘maybe‘ regarding the building of a small replacement facility if the trust can raise £400 million and get approval from the Department of Health (DH).

In May, Hunt visited St Helier hospital for another photo-opportunity – but when he was confronted by a hospital campaigner armed with hard questions and a camera, he didn’t have the courage to face his accusers and was in such a hurry to get away that he got his car entangled in the tape that had been used to cordon off his parking space:

The campaigner then turns her fire on the local Tory candidate (now MP), Stephen Hammond, and the hospital’s chief executive.

The Tories’ plan to dismantle the NHS is dependent on silence, acquiescence and spin. When confronted by the truth of their actions, they prefer to get away as quickly as possible and trust the ‘MSM’ to co-operate in hiding their weakness and dishonesty.

Hunt’s reticence has recently started – ill-advisedly – to slip, at least on social media. On two recent occasions he has decided to get cocky about the NHS – once with an NHS doctor and once with actor Ralf Little – and received a humiliating ‘schooling’ on both occasions.

Now his shamelessness has taken him to Bristol for a ridiculous, stage-managed appearance – and it was the outrage of staff that resulted in his presence being erased after the fact.

But based on past performance, the people of Bristol need to start campaigning for their hospital now, because where Hunt goes the DH axe often follows.

  1. Yet the mental health private bonanza continues, google finola moss, with £13,000 a week a patient paid per patient, minimum £900 a day and patients kept for as long as possible and if autistic/LD 133 million paid to rehabilitate after years of million pound hospital ‘treatment’ .

And more patients detained under MHA section on increasingly vague disorders, and extended now to more children.

So that now nearly a fifth of NHS budget is spent for inadequately rated by CQC services, see reports on Cygnet, that now owns half of all mental hospitals, rest mainly owned by Priory, both US owned Acadia the later, the former UHS where Stevens was former executive for 8 years..

  2. As a direct result of the underfunding of the NHS, 30,000 people die avoidable deaths each year.

Jeremy Hunt’s actions kill thousands and thousands of people’s family members every year.

    It is effectively mass murder.

  3. THE GRIM REAPER, WE ARE HIS TARGETS THE WEAK AND VULNERABLE!
