The self-cannibalisation of the Tory party has been gathering pace since Theresa May’s disastrous conference speech.
Former party chair Grant Shapps claimed to have the names of ‘up to 30’ Tory MPs prepared to ask the ‘1922 committee’ to remove Mrs May. Boris Johnson – with a shameful, casual disregard for those with mental health challenges – in turn attacked ‘nutters’ who wanted to remove May as leader.
Then, on Thursday, former Tory chancellor Nigel Lawson savaged current chancellor Philip Hammond on for coming ‘very close to sabotage’ by refusing to budget huge sums of money to cover the ‘no-deal Brexit’ that will take place when the Tories fail to reach a deal with the EU:

Now Conservative back-bencher Nadine Dorries has taken to Twitter to pile on, piggy-backing on the above BBC tweet of Lawson’s comments to launch her own attack on ‘Spreadsheet Phil’:
Dorries is only saying publicly what numerous Tory front- and back-benchers have been saying privately for months, as Hammond himself confirmed in July.
But the fact that the various Tory factions – anti-May, anti-Hammond, anti-Johnson, anti-Gove and all the rest – are now starting to fight publicly exposes the beginnings of the complete breakdown that has been on the cards since the Tories lost their parliamentary majority to the ‘Corbyn surge’ in June.
It’s popcorn time – until they implode completely and, as Emily Thornberry said during Labour’s conference, the grown-ups take over.

I don’t think there will ever be any shortage of reasons or opportunities to criticise Johnson without getting all pious about it. I don’t seriously think he was actually implying that anyone had mental health issues – would ‘barmy, stupid, idiotic, moronic…’ etc be permissible? That slope is very slippery…
Hilarious it was the same during the 90’s over the Maastricht Treaty. Rod, Jane and Freddy from Rainbow would had a deal completed by now.

Nutters are not people with mental health challenges. Words like loony, nuts, nutters, lunatics, crazy, insane, mentally fucked in the head, etc are words for normal people, usually advocating some kind of intolerance. Don’t push these words on mentally ill people – we don’t fucking want them. These are beige words to describe beige people – fascists, Tories, ideologues, racists, austerians, pollyannas, centrists, Boris, etc. The only word we want is ‘mad’ cuz we’re pissed off about beige projections of otherness.
Language is easy, society is hard, so we are collectively more mindful of language than food and shelter. Most of the homeless are mad. Most of the Tories are batshit crazy. Peace 🙂

What a load of misfits leading this country. Last weekend James Cleverly was have a row with 3 other Tories on WhatsApp. Nadine Dorries, James Duddridge, Paul Scully all having a right old row. Then Penny Mordaunt chimes in telling them all to calm down. I wish I could post it here but alas and alack I can’t here. James Cleverly wants to be next PM!!! You just couldn’t make this stuff up.
Beware the tory ‘Scorched Earth’ policies. They’re nothing short of pyschopaths and will think nothing of destroying the (meagre) infrastructure left, as it won’t affect them as it will your ‘Average Joe’ and leave the Labour party a right state to try & fix…
Yes – they’ve been at it for the last 7 years or so. They’re still the government, all told.
Remember, they’re still blaming Labour for the global financial crash 9 years ago; and are still saying that’s why we must have austerity policies…
And many still believe them.
Let’s pray that this is true and the Tories implode all over each other.

The Tories are fighting like children in the playground and, while they do, our country goes down the drains – but they don’t give a damn about that, as it will be the Grown-ups – the Labour Party – who will have to try and bring us back to some kind of parity.
The fact that the tories are still spouting the lie that it was Labour that caused the global financial crash – when it was the Tory’s billionaire banking buddies who managed to do that all on their own – says so much about the thinking of the tory party.
Anybody who voted them in, ought to be ashamed of themselves, as they brought into a power the biggest self-serving bunch of brats imaginable – brats that have managed to bring more misery and death to their own people, in the 7 years they’ve been in power, than at any other time in our history!
And it’ll be the Labour Party who’ll have to clean up after them and, no doubt, once again bear the blame! Grrrrrrrr
