May/Rudd planning £32mn CUT to COUNTER-TERROR budget #GE17

In a shocking article this morning, the Times has revealed that the Tories are still planning to cut £32 million from the budget of the Office of Security and Counterterrorism (OSCT) – a cut of almost 4% that will exceed 6% in real terms after inflation.

This is what Theresa May considers ‘well-resourced’, apparently.

May described the OSCT as,

critically important… at the heart of the UK’s response to the threat we face from terrorists and serious criminals

Clearly, to the Tory mind, even being ‘critically important’ and at the heart of protecting our people from terrorism does not prevent it being a target for serious cuts.

Even just days after such tragic loss of life and the terrible injuries to survivors in London.

  1. Is she really intelligent person? Is she really a strong person? Will she really make the Country stable? She was making a speech in front of bookshelves yesterday. Did she try to tell people she was intelligent or try. People have to know what she is in time, by 8th June 2017.

  2. Surely this is the final nail?
Who could possibly vote for this bunch of liars now?

  3. THE CON-PARTY DON’T WANT POWER COME THURSDAY!

I SHALL HAZARD A GUESS, THEY’RE ALL GOING ON HOLIDAY AND NOT COMING BACK!
    “IF ONLY”.

  4. The tories will continue to deliberately cut resources because they want more attacks so that they can soften the public up for even more draconian measures against of curtailing rights and freedom. This will be under the guise of keeping us safe. It will be Big Brother writ large.

I thought we were living in a panopticon before, but after they implement this we will know for a fact that we are being watched.

I also noticed today that tory held Westiminster will be turning off its CCTV cameras at the end of this month. This following a terrorist attack is unacceptable.
