What’s sauce for the goose, it seems. The Iranian government has designated the RAF and UK navy as “terrorist organisations” for their assistance to the US and Israel in their illegal war of aggression on Iran. Britain’s overseas spy organisation MI6 has been labelled as a “hostile group” for “Espionage and cooperation with the Zionist regime and hostile countries”.
As well as supposed ‘defensive’ action to protect US bases and Israel from Iranian retaliation, UK PM Andy Burnham ordered the RAF to support Saudi Arabia in its attacks on Iran’s allies Ansar Allah in Yemen.
Reciprocal
The Iranian foreign ministry said it was acting reciprocally for the UK’s designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organisation and that “the measures were adopted in accordance with international law and the principle of reciprocity”.
UK ‘mainstream’ media, unsurprisingly, are ignoring the development.
