The deranged drive to war with Russia – which intelligence services and even NATO admit is no threat to the UK or western Europe – continues. After the UK announced last week that it was raising the conscription age to fight ‘any future war’ to 65, German chancellor Friedrich Merz has said that he wants to conscript both men and women into the army.
Poison pill
Merz tried to sweeten the pill by adding that Germans won’t only be conscripted into military service, it’s plain where his warmongering head is at:
NATO and the EU are determined to join a war that even the saboteurs of a peace deal admit has been completely avoidable since it began. They are perfectly prepared to throw us – young and old – into the meatgrinder that is already devouring 27,000 Ukrainian lives a month.
Their madness must be resisted at all costs.
