WATCH: French police protect neo-nazis attacking student protesters

French police have been captured on video standing back to allow neo-nazi thugs to attack students and trade unionists protesting against the Macron government’s war on education and public services.

The footage shows riot police in Montpellier doing nothing as the extremists beat protesters – then stepping in as soon as the protesters start to resist:

A still captured by the same French photographer, David Hutin, shows the fascists and police mixing freely:

The police protection of the neo-nazi attackers continued into the evening, extending even to the cops attempting to drive away reporters and photographers trying to record their actions:

Popular uprising

Hundreds of thousands of people defied Macron’s protest ban to fill the streets of Paris, and more in cities across France, in ‘manifestations’ against the government and the effects of its austerity programme, as well as its war on rights of speech and protest.

Mirroring the UK, Macron is attempting to criminalise resistance and demonise the left and appears to be eager to ban French left party La France Insoumise. Israel appears to be planting agitators and fake Muslims amid the protests to demonise France’s Muslim population for its own propaganda ends against the Palestinian people and their supporters.
