Video: Israel murdered journalists with 3 missiles, not 2

Five journalists and at least seventeen others murdered in targeted attack on hospital stairway using three missiles; Israeli military unit protests at Netanyahu’s claim of ‘mishap’

New video evidence shows that Israel’s ‘double-tap’ murder of journalists and rescue workers on a hospital staircase in Gaza earlier this week was in fact a ‘triple tap’ involving three missiles designed to ensure as many of its victims as possible were killed.

It’s now well known and widely acknowledged – apart from in many western ‘mainstream’ media outlets that continue to parrot Israeli narratives even though those narratives conflict with each other – that Israel deliberately set up the attack specifically to kill journalists and rescue workers, with an initial strike on the exterior staircase then a pause to allow rescue workers to attend the wounded and journalists to gather to report on the strike, before hitting it again.

But the latest footage clearly captures two missiles hitting after the first:

The first strike killed journalist Hussam al-Masri, who worked for Reuters. The second and third killed journalists Mohammed Salama (Al Jazeera), Mariam Abu Daqa (Independent Arabia and AP), Moaz Abu Taha (NBC) and Ahmed Abu Aziz (Quds Feed). Palestinian journalist Mohammad Fayq is in a critical condition:

The use of the staircase by journalists was widely known, as it was one of the few spots in Gaza with relatively reliable internet access:

Journalist Abdel Rahman al-Kahlout said:

Since the beginning of the war, I have relied on this spot at Nasser Medical Complex as the only window to access the internet especially during the blackout and the siege of the hospital. I risked and struggled just to keep the images alive and reaching the world. Today, this place was deliberately targeted, an attempt to silence our voices and stop us from documenting what is happening in Gaza.

This is no coincidence it is a clear crime against journalists and against the right to know.

Cold-blooded, pre-planned murder to silence those who keep exposing Israel’s endless crimes in Gaza, yet Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu initially claimed that the bombing of the staircase was a ‘mishap’. This claim triggered outrage among Israel’s genocidal military and the equally genocidal gang of pro-Israel ‘influencers’ acting as propagandists for the coloniser regime.

Members of the military unit that planned the strike said they were affronted by Netanyahu’s attempted disavowal, while far-right West Bank settler Rivka Lafair, a so-called ‘influencer’ for the Zionist cause, condemned Netanyahu’s ‘apology’ and thanked the military for attacking the hospital and killing the journalists:

Despite the murder of journalists working for them, news agencies still parroted Israeli propaganda about the attack and failed even to name their murdered colleagues, as Palestinian clothing manufacturer Wear the Peace pointed out in a thread:

The US defended Israel’s attack on the journalists, with US ambassador to the UN Dorothy Shea blaming the Palestinians for their murder and ignoring Netanyahu’s claim that it had been accidental, instead insisting the three-missile attack was to take out a ‘Hamas camera’:

Far more journalists have been murdered by Israel in tiny Gaza, as it seeks to silence those who expose its crimes, than were killed in all the wars and conflicts of the last one hundred years, including the Second World War.

Israel is a terror state and the US and its poodles, along with the colluding corporate media, are its genocide-enablers.
