To the surprise of precisely no one, Tom Alexandrovich doesn’t turn up for hearing
Accused paedophile Tom Alexandrovich – a senior Israeli cyberspy caught in a paedo sting trying to arrange to have sex with a child and who was allowed by a racist Israeli-born government lawyer to flee back to Israel after meetings with senior US law and security agencies – has failed to return to the US for his scheduled court appearance.
The absconding would not be at all dramatic as it would surprise precisely no one – except for the arrogance of the way it was handled, with Alexandrovich’s lawyer telling the court that he had told his client not to come because an agreement had been reached that he wouldn’t have to. The judge shot that down in flames, saying that the alleged child rapist was absolutely expected in court for every scheduled court appearance. Israel, which has routinely denied more than two thousand extradition requests for paedophiles and has alleged child rapists at the top of its government, had initially denied Alexandrovich had been arrested, then said he would return to the US for his court dates.
Now the court, presumably realising the slim chance of ever seeing him in person, has allowed Alexandrovich’s lawyer to schedule a virtual appearance in court for a new hearing. To be followed by virtual prison time if convicted, no doubt.
