Home Office and Foreign Office play pass the parcel and refuse to comment
The Starmer government has refused to say that UK citizens should not travel to Israel to participate in the coloniser’s genocidal war of extermination against the Palestinian people of Gaza.
While some British MPs have warned that the Starmer regime must not allow UK nationals to fight in the Israel ‘Defence’ Forces – Israel is reportedly planning a recruitment drive to persuade Jewish youth from other countries to join its army because of its losses in Gaza, mental breakdowns and resignations among its troops and the growing phenomenon of Israeli young people refusing conscription – both David Lammy’s Foreign Office and Yvette Cooper’s Home Office refused a request from Middle East Eye to state the British government’s position on Britons enlisting in Israel.
In a typical demonstration of combined cowardice and collusion, the Home Office referred the question to the Foreign Office and the Foreign Office referred it to the Home Office.
SNP MP Chris Law said:
The UK government must warn against enlistment and ensure that anyone who ignores these warning and does enlist is subsequently held accountable to international law.
Israeli Army Radio has reported that the Israeli government is considering a campaign to encourage the diaspora to join up because of a shortfall of ten to twelve thousand troops.
Independent MP Ayoub Khan said dual nationals must be stripped of their British citizenship if they enlist in the Israeli military.
If UK dual nationals choose to enlist in the IDF during a conflict that international bodies and courts have described in terms of war crimes, ethnic cleansing, plausible genocide, then they must be held to the same standard as others who have joined foreign forces accused of such crimes.
By participating in actions that raise such grave concerns, they demonstrate a disregard for fundamental human rights and values, and therefore pose a potential threat to the safety and principles of our society.
It would only be fair and consistent to strip such individuals of their British citizenship and right of return, just as has been done with others who travelled abroad to participate in violence or join organisations engaged in crimes against humanity.
Both MPs are right, but they missed a point: any Brits joining in Israel’s genocide – whether they travel there specially or are already there – must be shipped off to the Hague to face war crimes charges.

As should those in official representative decision-making and administrative positions who allow these knuckle draggers to enlist in a foreign military which is mass murdering civilians for a State which has openly expressed the objective of expanding itself to occupy parts or all of neighbouring States such as Lebanon, Syria, Jordon, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, and expel or exterminate their local populations for the exclusive use of the chosen people/master race of Zionism.
It is not as though the British Establishment, among other self-defining elites across the minority of the world which is the collective West (the self-styled “Garden”) have not already got form in terms of this activity. It being an open secret that “mercenaries” from the UK have been active from the get-go ‘on Safari’ in 404 – some of them on some form of extended secondment from the UK military to enable plausible deniability.
Not forgetting treating visiting terrorist head choppers from Syria who are still slaughtering Chrisitans, Alawites, and Shia Muslims, like foreign royalty whilst shovelling money the way of those terrorists that would be better spent in the UK.
