Seeking even the most basic essentials for life is a life-and-death gamble in Gaza under Israel’s genocide
Security camera footage from Gaza has again exposed Israel’s wanton slaughter of children posing no threat at all to the occupation. A young girl was struggling back to her family carrying a plastic canister of water when she was murdered by a bomb dropped from an Israeli drone:
As Mohmmed al-Khatib, a Palestinian journalist and photographer who obtained the footage, observed:
The scene reflects the harsh reality in Gaza, where not even the most basic necessities of life are spared from relentless violence — even water has become a reason for martyrdom.
The murder adds to the terrible toll of more than 200,000 children estimated to have been murdered by Israel among the over 430,000 Palestinians killed so far during the almost two-year genocide according to expert analysis of the occupation military’s own data – many of them simply playing in the street or on the beach, or huddled terrified in tents and shelters along with their family.
