Liverpool city centre sees neo-nazis outnumbered and outdone – pictures and video
Scousers turned out en masse today to defy, out-shout and outnumber a gang of mostly-imported racists who came to the city to try to intimidate refugees at a hotel rented for them by the government. The far-right trickled in in dribs and drabs to make a far tinier crowd than their last attempt a year ago, draped in their union jacks and England flags and trying to swagger. Merseyside Antifascists’ group cheers as the Stand up to Racism demo, which had been kept by police at the other end of the street, made their way round the block to join forces.

Didn’t see the usual token counter-demonstration by white, mostly Gentile Zionists in London, this time, either. They’re usually fenced-off in a side-street somewhere along the march route. A quarter-million attendance reported from the stage (which, oddly, is fewer than the 300,000 claimed in June, last time I went)…

Need counter leaflets and a counter narrative which tell a story, draws on emotion, draws on info, and gives a positive message about migrants & refugees.
Tragically the greatest threat to children comes from within the family or people known to them and tragically too child abuse is in all social classes & ethnic groups so focussing on one ethnic group does nothing to protect all children.
And Jillazzouz points out, of 115,000 child sexual abuse cases in 2023 (www.govt.uk)
106,000 (92.2%) were by white men.
Oh & migrant workers who come here on visas bring £25b to the UK economy & are 20% of the workforce + come healthy & educated plus pay own fare here so are Free Workers!
And we have spoken to refugees in hotels, and they have told us they love the area and ALL want to work.
So we need to get this narrative out there including to those who are being played by Far Right & Right Wing propaganda.
