Israel’s ‘aid’ drops – its attempt to appear to be doing something to alleviate the starvation its illegal blockade has caused in Gaza – have so far landed in ‘red zone’ areas where Palestinian civilians will be shot for entering.
But in a new and sick twist, Israel has begun dropping the packages into the sea off the coast of Gaza – and shooting any Palestinians who try to reach it:
Israel does not even allow the people of Gaza to fish or to enter the sea for any reason and has long told them that anyone who enters the water will be killed. Now it is making desperate, starving refugees watch as what might (or might not) be food sinks to the bottom of sea.

Sure its an israeli drip? I didn’t think the rodents would be bothering to make any attempt to provide aid, either by land, sea or air.
That said, it also wouldn’t have surprised me if the drop consisted of plastic/disposable cutlery, or something of little to no use/consequence – like the scene in A bridge too far where the para runs out into the open to retrieve the airdropped container, only to be shot dead in the process; dropping the container which opens up to spill it’s load… of maroon berets.
