Massacre – again – in northern Gaza

Israel has massacred at least fifty-five starving Palestinians and wounded more than six hundred and fifty others, shooting them as they waited for aid near Zikim in northern Gaza. Casualties were rushed to what remains of the al-Shifa Hospital:

What were meant to be relief points have turned into deadly traps for civilians, instead of places of refuge and survival. Mohammad returned not with flour—but carrying his father’s body and an unbearable grief.
Israel has murdered well over a thousand civilians at its own ‘aid’ stations set up to create a false impression that it is doing something to alleviate the famine it has manufactured through its starvation blockade. Hundreds of Palestinians have now been killed by malnutrition in Gaza, especially children, adding to the more than 430,000 deaths inflicted by bombs, missiles, shells and bullets.

As winteringham posted on another recent thread about Starmer’s “diktat on who can and who can’t be the government of a foreign country with brown faces.” the level of ethnocentric entitlement emanating from David Keys is off the scale.
Despite the statement from Skwakwbox that these views are not necessarily shared by this site, I’m still surprised that article was published without a comments section to enable readers to challenge the flawed assumptions, misrepresentations and disingenuous omissions of the arguments presented.

I don’t want to hear Western Centric lightweights bores pontificating when 400,000 Palestinians have been slaughtered by Israel aided and abetted by Western including UK (capitalist) interests eg profits from Israel’s theft of Gaza’s land, gas & oil.
Was so lightweight was bored by end of first para and in my opinion adds nothing to the debate.
Appealing to the oppressor to moderate its behaviour rather than fighting alongside the oppressed for their

Would rather listen to Palestinian writers and fortunately New Left Review’s Sidecar blog has been good on this.
Oh & it could be argued Keys legitimises the existence of the illegal occupation force’s land theft of Palestine.
Just tinker with UK policy a bit and the Zionists have what they hold; giving up 20% to Palestinians but even that under the supervision and control of the Right Wing only shuffles a few pawns and the
entity that calls itself Israel wins in both heads (the status quo) or tails (two states)

Perhaps it fails to permeate Mr Keys’ skull that what is driving the Western (including the UK) Genocide Enablers is a share of the PROFITS from Israel land thefts & the theft of Gaza’s gas & oil resources.

What is deeply ironic is that commentators like Keys wail and gnash their teeth that what the Israeli state have been doing has contributed to the re-election of Trump – who is the epitome of the very basis of the “Western interests” Keys seeks to defend above all else.
An approach based on ensuring outcomes in which “I win-You lose” and zero-some results are produced at all costs.
An approach which exports surplus capital to the Global South to repatriate vast surplus profits from those resources, which not only exploits those countries and their peoples but never gets ploughed back for the benefit of the societies in the West but is just hoarded. Impoverishing everybody outside the 1% wherever they are in this exploitative Ponzi scheme.
An approach that operates more efficiently and effectively and at a far greater scale than the Mafia – as former US Marine General Smedley Butler observed. Bombing people back to the Stone Age if they don’t bend the knee to Keys’s “Western Interests”.
Because the West is not simply the “Garden” it has to be the biggest, baddest and bestest. It operates on different rules and laws to those it applies to everyone else, because its self-defined “values” and “culture” is intrinsically superior to everyone elses and anything else throughout history.
It’s “Interests” are paramount. It’s leading elites and their useless idiot shills like David Keys tell us so all the time and take it upon themselves to determine who can and who cannot be elected to office at any level in every country and institution on the planet who might not, like Castro, Putin, Xi and others, let those “Western Interests” Keys so doggedly defends and promotes rape, pillage and plunder their countries.
Thus, any opposition is dishonestly reframed as “hatred of the West” by those who simply cannot and will not accept any other position than total obedience to the dominance of those “Western Interests” which are in fact the interests of a sick minority oligarchic pathology.
Economic Neo-liberalism, social Neo-Feudalism and cultural Neo-conservatism forms the pinnacle of human existence, culture and values according to this ‘end of history’ death cult which forms the basis of the “Western Interests that people like Keys place as the primary and paramount concern.
The guy is a fake. A virtue signaller. A fraud. Pretending to be humanely concerned whilst pushing the same interests that are causing the problems he pretends to be concerned about.
