Palestine, housing, Birmingham bin strike among issues to feature

Skwawkbox will be live-streaming the Merseyside Community Independents rally this Saturday, 14 June, from noon to 3pm. Watch via Skwawkbox and Socialist Telly on Twitter/X, Facebook and Socialist Telly YouTube. Speakers include Jeremy Corbyn, Liverpool Community Independent councillors Alan Gibbons and Sam Gorst, who hammered Keir Starmer’s Labour in Orrell Park and Garston respectively, Scouse-Palestinian activist Haneen Awaad, Southport Community Independents councillor Sean Halsall, Mike Masters of the Birmingham Bin Strike and more, along with live music performances.

For any who want to attend the event at Liverpool’s Liner Hotel in person, a few tickets are still available at the time of writing. Nobody knows how to do resistance quite like Liverpool, so however you tune in don’t miss out.
