Video: attack on Flotilla’s Madleen ‘imminent’ as Israel hacks humanitarian vessel’s tracking

Urgent call to action from crew as hacked destination now shows Amman airport in Jordan as aid ship nears Gaza

The Madleen’s hacked satellite tracking at the time of writing.

The volunteers crewing the Gaza-bound humanitarian aid ship Madleen, part of the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, have put out an urgent appeal for help with an Israeli attack on the vessel believed to be imminent, after the Israeli military – probably its notorious spy ‘Unit 8200’ – hacked the vessel’s satellite tracking.

The British-flagged ship, now less than 160 nautical miles from the Gaza shore, has previously only shown a red line up to its current position, but now the line extends through Gaza straight to Amman airport in Jordan, a clear signal of the genocidal colony’s intent to impede the vessel and prevent it breaking Israel’s starvation blockade and delivering its cargo of medicines and other essentials to the starving, constantly bombed Palestinian people of Gaza, and to draw attention to Israel’s genocide and other crimes perpetrated on Palestinian civilians, especially women and children.

Israel’s genocidal racist minister of defence threatened the Madleen and it’s crew today.

The danger is very real. In 2010, Israel attacked the Freedom Flotilla ship the Mavi Marmara, murdering ten crew members and wounding dozens, to complete inaction from western governments.

Two of the crew have posted video messages this morning explaining the situation:

French members of the crew have called on the French government to act immediately:

Despite the ship being a UK vessel, UK PM Keir Starmer and Foreign Secretary David Lammy remain stubbornly silent and appear to have never mentioned the voyage at all, let alone demanded that the Israeli government let it complete its humanitarian mission in peace. The UK military continues to provide daily spy flights over Gaza to enable Israel’s genocide. Email them at keir.starmer.mp@parliament.uk and david.lammy.mp@parliament.uk and flood their X accounts here and here to demand immediate action to protect a UK ship from terrorism.

  1. So will Right Wing Lab stand with a UK registered vessel bringing urgent humanitarian aid to the Palestinian starving or break Maritime law & international law & stand with the oppressor?
Go Madleen, sail safe & sail well as the world watches & the oppressed of the world is with you.
