UK embassy in Israel crows ‘UK-Israel cooperation at every stop’
Last week UK Foreign Secretary said he was ‘stepping up’ action against Israel over its crimes in Gaza – which he and his boss Keir Starmer suddenly found ‘intolerable’ after eighteen months of doing nothing – including suspending talks over a new trade deal.
Just days later, on Monday, the UK embassy in Israel, through its official Twitter/X account, crowed how ‘great’ it was to welcome Ian Austin – and about the ‘day full of innovation’ Austin, a ‘thuggish‘ former right-wing Labour MP and Israel fanatic made UK ‘trade envoy’ after being made a peer by the Tories after helping sabotage Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour up to the 2019 general election, enjoyed visiting projects that demonstrate ‘UK-Israel cooperation at every stop’:
‘UK-Israel cooperation at every stop’. Starmer’s government is cosplaying outrage at Israel’s crimes, gaslighting the whole UK which is overwhelmingly against Israel’s genocide and collaborating wholeheartedly in Israel’s slaughter, starvation and ethnic cleansing of more than two million Palestinians in Gaza.
And it’s not even being subtle about it. Austin’s ‘trade envoy’ junket is bad enough, but on the same day Lammy spouted his performative drivel, the UK RAF was continuing its daily spy flights over Gaza to feed intel and targeting information to the murderous occupation.
They all belong on trial in the Hague.

The UK must impose sanctions on the Israeli government and its ministers and also consider suspending it from the UN to meet its “fundamental international legal obligations”, more than 800 lawyers, academics and retired senior judges, including former supreme court justices, have said.
In a letter to the prime minister, they welcome Keir Starmer’s joint statement last week with the leaders of France and Canada warning that they were prepared to take “concrete actions” against Israel. But they urge him to act without delay as “urgent and decisive action is required to avert the destruction of the Palestinian people of Gaza”.
The signatories, including the former supreme court justices Lord Sumption and Lord Wilson, court of appeal judges and more than 70 KCs, say that war crimes, crimes against humanity and serious violations of international humanitarian law are being committed in Palestine.

Re the Guardian article in my post above, before I posted about it I did a general search and, as such, looked through the first fifty/sixty results, and there wasn’t one single MSM news outlet to be seen. So I just now started to check each of them doing a search on their respective websites and, BBC News, nothing, The Times, nothing, The Independent nothing. But THAT’s as far as I got (so far), because I came across THIS in The Independent, posted just over an hour ago (at the time of typing):

The SKWAWKBOX yesterday published an analysis of the S*n‘s (henceforth ‘Scum’) article claiming that 93% of junior doctors would support privatisation of the NHS if it meant a pay-rise – analysis that showed the poll’s self-contradictory claims are almost certainly as fictitious as that same rag’s thoroughly-discredited and wholly-invented claim that Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn danced on the way to a Remembrance Day service.
A commenter on that article pointed out the similarity between the Scum‘s ‘poll’ by “a medic from Hull” and an article that was run by the Telegraph and the Scum earlier this year, with the same aim of discrediting the junior doctors’ strike against the awful Hunt’s awful, unneeded contract.

The junior doctors were taking industrial action at the time and the fake poll was designed to smear them as hypocrites to the Sun’s millions of readers. As you will see, the Sun put a picture of junior doctors holding banners right at the top/start of the article, one saying ‘Save our NHS’, and another one saying ‘This fight is for everyone’.
The authors of the falsehood/smear are not only scum, they are FASCIST SCUM of course!
