Regime’s shameless targeting of civilians continues
Israeli warplanes have targeted the Fahmi Al-Jarjawi School in Gaza, which was sheltering refugees. The bombing triggered intense fires.
The family of murdered journalist Hossam Shbat posted footage of the immediate aftermath of the bombing.
Palestinian-Canadian Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Mosab Abu Toha, whose family is still in Gaza, posted horrific video of a young girl who survived the initial bombing trying to escape the inferno in scenes chillingly reminiscent of images of burning patients and civilians after previous targeted bombings on refugees in tents:
Local rescue workers tried desperately to help the victims but were unable to reach them because of Gaza’s wrecked infrastructure:
Israel also this evening bombed a residential block and the surrounding tent camp in Gaza city, killing and wounding a large number of displaced people. As usual, neither attack has been mentioned by UK PM Keir Starmer or Foreign Secretary David Lammy.

Did that poor girl manage to escape the flames?
Middle East Eye posted a video, “Israel’s school attack burns civilians alive” which cuts from a miraculous rescue at the scene, to the silent silhouette video, then back to the scene, removing a small, burnt lifeless body. I infer from editing conventions that she did not escape.
Later reports show that she survived, the only one to survive in her immediate family.
