And 82% want Gaza emptied, according to Israeli newspaper poll. Israel’s genocidal intent isn’t only in its government
A new poll by a US university, published in Israeli newspaper Haaretz, has (again) exposed the prevalence of racist murderousness in the public psyche of the colony.
The poll, by Penn State University, has been quoted as saying that ‘half’ of Israelis want the Palestinians in Gaza exterminated, but in fact the figure is considerably higher. 47% of respondents answered directly to a poll question that yes, they believe the Israeli army ‘should’ kill all the inhabitants of any city they conquer. But almost two thirds (65%) said they believe there is a ‘current incarnation of Amalek’ – the regime’s description of the Palestinians as a biblical nation the bible says the historical Hebrews were ordered to completely wipe out – and of those, 93% said the ‘mitzvah’ (command) to wipe them out still applies, meaning that more than 60% agree with the wholesale slaughter of Palestinians, at least in Gaza.
The poll also indicates that 82 percent of Israelis support the forced expulsion of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip – an aim the Israeli government now openly states has been its intention all along. Other polls have shown that three quarters of Israelis either agree with Israel’s genocide in Gaza or think its military should go even further.
This murderous attitude among the public is not merely theoretical or considered shameful, or even controversial. While there is a growing ‘refuser’ movement among Israeli youth, even many young people freely admit that Israel ‘needs’ to kill even Palestinian babies and children, as this ITV News clip shows:
Israeli propaganda portrays Palestinians as trained from childhood to want to ‘kill Jews’, a claim that is absent any contemporary evidence. In contrast, evidence abounds of Israeli children being taught to want the death of all Palestinians or even all Arabs, while Israeli TV only recently published a video of children singing about exterminating the people of Gaza:

The Jesuits say that if they can train a child for the first seven years of its life, what they are taught will stick for life. The new poll results suggest the same often, but not always, applies to the racist and genocidal teaching forced on children in Israel.

It seems to me that since the violent establishment of Israel in 1948 it has been the norm to demonise Palestinians to Israeli children from a very early age, and the government and much of the media inculcate the population with atrocity propaganda no doubt in the first place, and then becomes entrenched in society as such. I mean is there another country on the planet where young kids have learnt and sing such songs?! It’s totally sick and twisted and deranged and demented.

Apologies (for yet another post), but…
I was in a charity shop about three/four weeks ago paying for something at the counter when I just happened to notice a hardback copy of a book by Michael Mansfield on the book shelves close by entitled Memoirs Of A Radical Lawyer and, of course had to buy it. I started reading it about ten days ago now and just got to page 143, where it says the following:
In 2003 in Gaza, James Miller, a cameraman who was making a film about Palestinian children, was shot. In the same year, less than a mile away, Tom Hurndall, a twenty-two-year-old journalist who rushed in to rescue a group of small children being fired at by Israeli soldiers, was shot in the head.
I don’t recall having heard about these two guys before, but there have of course been others in the past, activists, who have been killed in Gaza (and the West Bank), and then there were the nine people on the flotilla who were murdered by Israeli forces. And in the process of doing a search re Tom and James, I came across some articles about Shireen and, as such, realised that it was three years ago this month that she was executed by the IDF.
PS Have the IDF named the six Hamas operatives yet they alledged were among the paramedics and first responders they killed two months ago? An IDF spokesman told a group of reporters seven weeks ago now that “they will be named later”, but we’ve heard nothing. I wonder what possible reason there could be for not just naming them straight off, let alone delaying doing so for weeks and months. And, more-than-likely, for ever!

I just did a search re >doctor nine children killed< and Sky News have covered it as well, and The Independent (and Haaretz and the Jerusalem Post and the Times of Israel and Yahoo News), and THEY were on just the first page of results, so it's probably been covered by most of the MSM, and perhaps all of the MSM.

The bodies of 79 people killed by Israeli strikes have been taken to hospitals in the past 24 hours, Gaza ‘s health ministry said on Saturday, a toll that does not include hospitals in the battered north which it said were now inaccessible.
The dead over the past day in Israel’s renewed military offensive included nine of one doctor’s 10 children, horrified colleagues and the health ministry said.
Alaa Najjar, a paediatrician at Nasser Hospital, was on duty at the time and ran home to find her family’s house on fire, Ahmad al-Farra, head of the hospital’s paediatric department, told The Associated Press.
Ms Najjar’s husband was severely wounded and their only surviving child, an 11-year-old boy, was in a critical condition after Friday’s strike in the southern city of Khan Younis, Mr Farra said.

An Israeli air strike on Gaza hit the home of a doctor and killed nine of her 10 children on Friday, according to the hospital where she works in the city of Khan Yunis, according to a BBC report.
The children were the sons and daughters of Hamdi and Alaa al-Najjar, both doctors working at Nasser Hospital. Colleagues of the couple told multiple media outlets that the family had no ties to Hamas.
According to reports by the BBC and Sky News Arabia, Hamdi had just returned from driving his wife to work at the hospital when the strike hit their home. He was critically wounded, as was their 11-year-old son Adam – the couple’s only surviving child.
Civil defense teams said the strike completely destroyed the house and sparked an intense fire. The Civil Defence organization in Gaza published video footage showing the charred bodies being recovered from the rubble. Witnesses said the children’s mother collapsed upon seeing their remains brought into the hospital where she works…

The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry announced Thursday morning that 16,506 Palestinian children have been killed since the war began on October 7, 2023, including 916 infants under the age of one.
According to the data, 4,365 of the children killed were between the ages of one and five, and 6,101 were between six and 12. The remaining victims were between 13 and 17 years old. The ministry also released a list of the names of all the children who were killed.

In this particular case it obviously WAS a precision strike, as the Israeli airforce maintains all their air-strikes are, even with the tens of thousands of 2,000lb bombs the US has provided to them, with a kill zone of 300m from the impact site.
