“We tried everything. But they were too small to survive their injuries.” WARNING: traumatic footage
Palestinian doctor Ali Tahrawi of the Al Aqsa Martyrs hospital in Deir al-Balah, has posted a horrifying video of children he has seen murdered today by Israel’s relentless bombing of Gaza. The footage is traumatic, but posted without apology – the people of Gaza are living and dying in horror, especially the children:
Dr Tahrawi wrote, in his post accompanying the video:
We tried everything. But they were too small to survive their injuries. Too small to be killed. They were alone in their last moments. They were very cold. They were very pale. They were Palestinian babies. They were born in a genocide, lived their entire lives in a genocide, starved in a genocide, lost their parents in a genocide, were injured in a genocide; and finally killed in a genocide. As if they were a mistake in this world. As if the world couldn’t bear their presence. This is the beginning of the end of everything. Fuck the world. Fuck the silence. Fuck everything.
Just wanted to let you know this; After my 24-hour shift, after nonstop hours of treating the school massacres injuries; most of the injuries I dealt with were children; two among them were infants, and they couldn’t make it.
I think you should know what I, and every one of my colleagues, have lived through. Not just yesterday. Not just today. But for the past 20 months.
You should know how it feels to hold a dying child and realize it’s impossible to save them. You should know how helpless we are, and how abandoned they are. You should hear the screams of the mothers. You should feel everything with us. You should know this; because the world pretends not to.
Now Israel has admitted it is planning to seize and annex the whole of Gaza and either kill or drive out the rightful Palestinian inhabitants, yet the UK government continues to supply weapons and direct military assistance to the genocidal occupation.
As well as its non-stop bombing, Israel continues to starve the people of Gaza through its criminal blockade of all food, medicines, water, fuel and other essentials for life. Almost 300,000 children are in imminent danger of death from starvation, according to UNICEF and medical emergency groups.

I didn’t think I could cry anymore. I’m lost for words. I feel totally helpless.
It is frustrating that we have a government that when confronted by the facts in Parliament, come out with a string of platitudes, but no action at all. Indeed earlier today in Parliament the DEPUTY minister said that the UK no longer DIRECTLY supplies parts to Israel for the F35. One MP asked specifically if an RAF plane had left Akrotiri loaded with spare parts for Israel’s F35s. The Minister did not answer his question.

Yes, but it’s a worthless gesture cos the people of the UK are NOT looking at this site, so that disingenuous piece of brown-nosing ain’t gonna fly around here.
It is also the case that the people of the UK need to be confronted by the shocking reality that the UK Government – a so-called Labour Government – is complicit in actively (and sometimes surreptitiously) and as a matter of long-standing policy arming, aiding and abetting the brutality being perpetrated by the Western proxy in the region – i.e. Israel.
So the only place for this footage for it to do any good is for the enterprising journo to cultivate contacts on the inside in order to smuggle it onto the BBC 10pm news or similar, where “the people of the UK will see it”. Strewth! If you can’t manage that (a tall order, admittedly), you’re just preaching to the converted.
