Israel murders Palestinian photojournalist a day after hearing her documentary will premiere at Cannes

Fatima Hassouna killed in targeted airstrike, latest of more than 250 journalists murdered in Gaza

Palestinian journalist Fatima Hassouna was said to be ‘ecstatic’ after receiving confirmation from the Cannes Film Festival that the documentary film in which she stars, Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk, will premiere in Cannes next month – even more so as she received the news on her birthday on Tuesday.

Twenty-four hours later, she was dead – murdered by a targeted occupation airstrike on her home, along with ten other members of her family. The ‘Wear The Peace’ Palestinian clothing brand, which supported her, has posted some of her photos taken before Israel began its genocide, which has killed more than 200,000 Palestinian civilians and 260 journalists so far:

Fatima was just twenty-six years old.

    1. Yeah, and create a new category for Journalists who actually speak Truth to Power: A “Truth-Teller” medal.

The sacrifices of Assange, Fatima Hassouna, 250 other Palestinian truth-tellers and others confirm/prove that the people who work for the hermetically-sealed MSM propaganda system (‘lobby spokespeople’) are not ‘journalists’ in any noble sense.

      RIP Fatima.
