US children’s entertainer Ms Rachel targeted by pro-Israel group for showing humanity
A US pro-Israel group has demanded government action against ‘Ms Rachel’, a children’s YouTube educator with more than fourteen million followers, for saying she wants children in Gaza to be safe and fed.
The so-called ‘StopAntisemitism’ has written to US Attorney General Pam Bondi demanding that she investigate Rachel Griffin Accurso for supposedly being ‘a mouthpiece for Hamas.’ because she quoted statistics about Gaza, talked about photographs of starving Palestinian children and, the propagandists felt, posting too much about children in Gaza rather than Israeli children.
One of the ‘crimes’ that particularly seems to have outraged the lobby group was Griffin Accurso’s post – which, if anything, considerably understates the number of children Israel has murdered – in which she quoted death figures and said “Stop bombing children’:
In a comment accompanying the graphic, she called for Palestinian children to be treated as just as valuable as any child:
Please join me in saying this isn’t right! Please! These are not just numbers, they are children! Every child the same as your child. Every parent’s love for their child the same as your love. There’s no justifying killing over 15,000 children. Our grandchildren will ask us what we did when 15,000 children were killed.
Griffin Accurso also committed the ‘crime’ of posting a photo of Hind Rajab, the 6yo girl murdered by Israel along with her family in a hail of almost four hundred bullets fired by a tank crew that could see there were children in the car:
A video of families among the rubble of their home and images of starving Palestinian children were also, apparently, beyond the pale:
In an emotional short video, Griffin Accurso spoke of the pain and pressure the lobby group’s bullying had caused her but defiantly said that “I can handle this”:
As so often since Israel’s live-streamed genocide of at least two hundred thousand Palestinian civilians in Gaza and potentially more than half a million exposed the racist and murderous reality of Zionism, the Israel lobby’s attacks are backfiring, with an outpouring of public support for Griffin Accurso and an increase in follower numbers. But in the US under Trump’s fascist, lawless and fanatically Zionist regime, the spectre of government action against her still looms despite her right to freedom of speech.

…..“Antisemitism” is fast becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. As westerners tire of having their speech rights taken away by their government to protect the interests of a state that’s committing genocide under a Star of David banner, a lot of them are going to blame Jews for this. As western governments bend over backwards to help murder Israel’s enemies in the middle east, a lot of westerners are going to blame Jews. As the drums for war with Iran beat louder and louder and parents fear their children will be sent off to die for Israel, many will blame this on the Jews.
I am not saying this is a good thing. It’s a very bad thing. But it’s also reality.
As more and more westerners grow disgusted with Israel and their government’s support for its depravity, the far left is going to talk to the public about the difference between Zionism and Judaism, about the western empire and its interests in the middle east — and meanwhile the far right is going to blame it all on Jews.
Which of these sounds like the easier argument to make? Which is simpler? Which is more digestible? Which is less challenging to the cognitive biases of a population that’s already been propagandized to view their nation as inherently virtuous: a perspective which highlights the west’s culpability for the atrocities we’re backing in the middle east, or a cartoonish perspective which blames it all on the subversive manipulations of a sinister religious minority?
The culpability and guiding hand of Western politicians, court scribes (“journalists” and fellow traveller excusers of Western Oligarch War Criminals needs to be put front and centre of the narrative which is developing.
Without the active, material and ‘moral’ support West, none of this would have been possible.
I was saying to a friend just yesterday that Israel’s actions in the last 18 months has ripped the mask off its true nature, squandered any and all residual sympathy abroad over the holocaust and virtually ensured the mother of all pogroms is only a matter of time…
Every single one of them will eventually be seen for what they are “Foreign Agents’ and will have no choice but to move to Israel
