US builds mass force around Iran to support Israel’s genocide and expansionism

Air and sea force build-up as terror state aids terror state

The US has continued its build-up of forces against Iran as the Trump looks to neutralise all resistance to Israel’s genocide in Gaza:

The same forces could easily be deployed against Yemen, which the US has claimed is its target – and has continued its UK-aided slaughter of Yemeni civilians – but it seems clear that either cowing or attacking Iran is its aim.

Iran – like the Yemenis – shows no sign of giving into US posturing or aggression. The Iranian military spent the first three months of this year in military exercises showcasing its latest weaponry and now has at least three underground ‘missile cities’ capable of deploying missiles capable of reaching as far as 2,000km, according to analysis by Al Jazeera – which is not friendly toward Iran – and an underground naval base equipped with anti-ship projectiles with a range of 1,000km.

US action against Iran could easily lead to a global economic meltdown, with US bases as well as oil wells, refineries and shipping all within range. Few doubt that Trump would be willing to trigger such a meltdown to support Israel’s state terror against the Palestinians and neighbouring Lebanon and Syria, potentially even Egypt and Turkey – Israeli media have been manfacturing public consent for war on Turkey, claiming it poses a threat to Zionist interests because of its influence over some Syrian forces. Whether US military chiefs would ever step in to thwart Trump and prevent a global crisis seems a tenuous hope at best.

  1. Like the Israelis, they always have someone posing “a threat.” At least in their own minds… And one solution …. Bomb from 30,000 feet, usually civilian infrastructure and call it “where the terrorists are hiding…

  2. They haven’t learned nowt have they terrorists get in anyway twin towers showed them this threatening others has become the norm for USA

  3. As former UK diplomat Alastair Crooke observes here……

    https://strategic-culture.su/news/2025/04/07/break-leg-that-old-mafia-warning-trump-has-threatened-iran-over-ultimatum-that-likely-cannot-be-met/

“On 4 February, shortly after his Inauguration, President Trump signed a National Security Presidential Memorandum (NSPM); that is to say, a legally binding directive requiring government agencies to carry out the specified actions precisely.

The demands are that Iran should be denied a nuclear weapon; denied inter-continental missiles, and denied too other asymmetric and conventional weapons capabilities. All these demands go beyond the NPT and the existing JCPOA. To this end, the NSPM directs maximum economic pressure be imposed; that the U.S. Treasury act to drive Iran’s oil exports to zero; that the U.S. work to trigger JCPOA Snapback of sanctions; and that Iran’s “malign influence abroad” – its “proxies” – be neutralised….

….Trump’s ultimatum to Iran appears to be moving the U.S. down a path to where war is the only outcome, as occurred in 1914 – an outcome which ultimately triggered WW1…..

….. Acceptance of Trump’s demands would leave Iran neutered and stripped of its sovereignty, at the very least. There is an implicit ‘tone’ to these demands too, that is one of threatening and expecting regime change in Iran as its outcome.”

Trump has not only painted Iran into a corner, he has painted himself into the same corner with his explicit and very public statement that if Iran “doesn’t make a deal, there will be bombing. It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before”.

    His options are limited:

    a) A full scale ground invasion? Particularly when a 90,000 personnel US troop reduction to save money (Question: is this part of DOGE?) has just hit the headlines would seem to be, let’s go with, unwise. Though impractical, would also be equally accurate.

    b) Conventional bombing? In the context of the size, geography and geology of Iran AND the known fact of at the very least Russian Federation supplied and manned S-400 Air Defence Systems. Not to mention offensive hypersonic missiles, which pose a very real threat to not only Israel itself, but also every US military asset in the Region.

    c) A Colour Revolution, perhaps? In the timescale (this spring) set by Trump himself in a legally binding Executive Order? Try telling that one to the marines when every US Administration since Carter has had that on the Agenda. Trump is going to achieve in weeks what no other US President since 1979 has been able to accomplish? Yeah. Right. I have a bridge to rent you.

    d) A 180 degree U-turn by the Trump Administration, maybe? The Ego has landed that is Trump is really going to publicly humiliate himself to the American public and on the world stage by effectively surrendering that objective?

    e) Some form of nuclear option to achieve the objectives that Trump has publicly set for himself and the USA.

This is likely to get messy.
