If Starmer is trying to take the UK into fascism, we may have found the one thing he’s good at – 13 Cabinet ministers set to lose seats

The disastrous performance of Keir Starmer – the ‘long-time servant of the security state‘ – and the Labour right in government is taking the UK into fascism, according to the latest poll of Westminster voting intention.
Starmer has taken Labour from ‘lucky’ winners at last year’s general election – when the party won a majority because far-right ‘Reform’ split the Tory vote in almost every new seat Labour won, while millions of left voters stayed home presumably because of his political bankruptcy and broken promises – to a disastrous and distant third place behind both the fascistic Reform and the discredited Tories:
- CON 26% (+1)
- REF 25% (+1)
- LAB 21% (-3)
- LD 13% (+1)
- GRN 7% (-3)
Starmer’s policies, in government – coming in without any intention of improving anything then freezing pensioners, starving children and waging war both on the sick and disabled and on freedom of speech and colluding in Israel’s genocide while trying to outflank Reform and the Tories to right by attacking immigrants and boosting spending on weapons and militarism, and much more – have meant decent people have rightly abandoned Starmer as a lost cause, while the racist right want the natural extremism of Reform and the Tories, however disgraced they are.
The results mean that at least thirteen current ministers in Starmer’s Cabinet stand to lose their seats at the next general election:
– Angela Rayner (to REF)
– Shabana Mahmood (to IND)
– Ed Miliband (to REF)
– Bridget Phillipson (to REF)
– Wes Streeting (to IND)
– Rachel Reeves (to REF)
– Liz Kendall (to REF)
– Yvette Cooper (to REF)
Starmer is an appalling PM in both domestic and foreign policy and was an awful Director of Public Prosecutions according to the vast majority of Crown Prosecution Service staff. But if his aim has been to usher in fascism to the UK and especially to England, we have finally found something he’s good at.

Looks like the legendary Jonah has some stiff competition in Herr Starmer;
everyone should do everything to ensure the parasites lose every single seat‼️‼️‼️
if that happened signpost then maybe SOME trade union leaders might react – instead of pretending everything’s Rosie with Starmer and his right wing thugs as they destroy the Labour Movement and the party they are intent on destroying.
An organised working class is the bigger target of the neo-liberal thugs pretending to be ‘Labour’.
……..and the credible alternative that you are offering is❓
…..more certain every day SteveH – as sure as eggs is eggs. Inevitable!
He got in by others party fans staying at home, how ironic he will depart the same way.
This has been managed since Corbyn very nearly beat the establishment in 17. Starmer was parachuted in by the establishment to bring the far right to labour. Many years in the planning and his dream is coming to fruition.. Thicko deformers think foreigners are all to blame and more far right will help them. Cant wait to laugh when they cant afford health care insurance and they dobt have their job seekers allowance. I see a holocaust on muslims next. Worldwide not just Palestine.
I can think of bo reason for thinking New New Labour’s polling figures won’t continue falling. The rats will stat looking for a lifeboat

God, you’re fucking boring. I mean bore a zombie back into its grave’ boring.
credible alternative for complete and utter fuck’s sake.
Come back and tell us all about ‘alternatives’ when the greasy can’t you demanded we vote for, provides an alternative to the same monetarist, asset-stripping, carpetbagging shite this country’s been subject to since 1979.
Until then, shut your hole. Noncecase.
Can you provide a link to this poll? The most recent posting on Stats4Lefties is quite different; https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GnimjWfWsAA-uox?format=jpg&name=small
They’re each based on different surveys Tim. Skwawky’s is a few days more recent than Stats for lefties’ article. The Direction of Travel (and atrophy) is the same on both though.
When the next election happens, 200+,000 former members of Labour (‘for the many, not the few’) should get stencils saying “In Name ONLY” and canisters of bright pink fluorescent spray paint and spray the “In Name ONLY” after ‘Labour’ on every single fucking poster – then a ‘new party’ can happen. Until then, we’re in a long, slow death scene and ‘credible alternatives’ are not called-for SteveH.
Whod’a thought that Trump’s annexation of Palestine and his Gaza Riviera would have killed a once-relevant Labour party?
The recent announcement of Luton Airport expansion just goes to show how useless Ed Miliband is at protecting the environment.
Anyone who is now questioning why the left has deserted Labour is suffering from a form of selective dementia. We have been smeared, abused and told to stop playing student politics. The sensible centrists are now running the show, and what a show it is: genocide supporting friends of war crimes, freezing pensioners, starving children, cutting benefits to the sick and disabled, hedge fund lap-dogs, no principle liars, pledge breakers and friends of nonces. Not to mention wallowing in third place in the polls and aiding a Farage government.
