Video: thousands gather at Tufts Uni to demand return of abducted student Rumeysa Ozturk

Thousands of people have gathered at Tufts University in Boston, Mass, to demand the release and return of Rumeysa Ozturk, the young woman student who was abducted by a gang of masked ICE (‘Immigrant and Customs Enforcement’) thugs earlier this week:

The ICE gang did not at first identify itself when it seized Ms Ozturk at a street crossing for writing an article calling for the university to honour student votes and divest from Israel-linked investments because of Israel’s genocide in Gaza:

US Secretary of State Ozturk’s lawyer was unable to find out her location – it eventually emerged that she is being detained in Louisiana – 1,400 miles from where she was abducted – despite a court ordering the government not to remove her from Massachusetts without permission and notice.

The abduction is yet another in the fascist Trump regime’s unconstitutional war on speech and activism against Israel’s genocide and in support of Palestinian human rights.
